Maybe, Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan Saheb or Ustad Amir Khan Saheb is better than Pandit Bhimsen Joshi but Joshiji's voice is a gift from God. Till today no one can beat her voice in strength. So, I respect all of them. (Because you cannot compare between Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli..... Each one is a very very renowned batsman. On the other hand they are not batsmen of the same time...... So, you can't criticise any one of them)

The mahotsav used to start on second Thursday of December, and Anna used to be the last performer on Unday morning with a cheek PIYAKE MILAN KI AAS, Whereafter a record of Rambhau Kundgolkarji in Rag Bhairavi was played.Anna Nana Deshpande and all the sawai Gandharva shishyas standing and giving DAAD, to the rendition. The above seems to be an exception to that.Hats of however to bhimanna,,.

From his appearance and voice, it seems like a very old recording. Even his gesticulations are different from what we’re accustomed to seeing in his later years. Quality is good. It is a nice RAga to listen to.
