This hits so much more differently now.. and I’m glad it’s coming back.
The atmosphere with rain and this melancholic, mysterious music, makes me feel relaxed and at peace.... I like the atmosphere of Silent Hill like this

I've spent my entire teenage time trying to reproduce that Akira Yamaoka silent hillish vibe with cheap synth and poor gears ... Damn, you nailed the sound design and the atmosphere so well !
if you have omnisphere, type in "bizarre guitar" a lot of the presets used for silent hill 2 can be found there. also using granular synthesis can help to make those really lush pads.

The rain needs to be a little bit louder. Probably by a few decibels or at the very least indoor rain is just as good as outdoor rain can easily be confused with white noise
