Small Boat Sailing Episode 1 - Sailing first time on my own!

First time sailing with my new sailing boat. It is small and not so fast, but cosy.
Follow my adventure in the beautiful Stockholm Archipelago!
The boat-type is a Monark 540, Swedish made in 1978.
Length: 5,4 m (17,8 ft)

I had a 30' sailboat for 1 year and never ever was brave enough to go out by myself. I admire you and thanks a lot to empower me to do it on my own in my new boat, coming up soon!!!!!

It is scary in the beginning, to sail on your own, but definitely worth it! Go for it!

Just give it a try! I've been sailing many times in my life, but sailing my own boat is something else - and I love it!

Sweden have strong regulations against polluting the water and nature. The first time I sailed this boat, I started in the 3rd largest lake in Sweden, where our capital city takes all the drinking water from.

They were on the boat when I bought it, probably originals from the 70s... I have no handles either. Sorry I don't know much about them...
