- Navia's banner is now officially out in 4.3 and since this is a Geo-Only account, we are pulling with her using every primogem we can find. During this wishing-spree, we did also manage to snag another geo unit to add to our roster... But the question is, can we bring Navia home.
Geo is often viewed as one of the 'worst' elements in Genshin Impact... Time to try and change that. Can we beat Genshin Impact using ONLY Geo characters? Only time will tell.

That Yunjin pull though... Arguably best girl you could pull on this account given most of the geo characters are good with normal attacks.
Not to mention in February he can get c1 yunjin..

I think it's fine if you use other characters to activate any elemental monument as long as you didn't use them for fighting with the mobs!
I agree with the other accounts it was only weapon locked. With this its element locked and so many things are locked behind monuments or switches that need certain element. As long as he doesn't fight with the character or there is no known glitch to bypass it.

@@themosaNo, Mobs can refer to any enemies, not just Minecraft ones. The word "mob" is just most commonly used in minecraft

@@urius7917 The main problem is that it's Geo which doesn't have infusions like Anemo does. He would literally not be able to progress some of the story because of monuments

I personally don't consider it cheating since circumstances are against us and i remember you saying that there are scenarios where we absolutely can't progress without another element so we use it

I concur. It shouldn’t be considered cheating if there’s no way to make progress without using the element. It would be different if he knew of some way to glitch it like he did before with the mondstadt weapon material domain, but he can’t access that part of the quest-line without using cryo, so he should get a free pass there
Yeah but the problem is that there are always ifiots who start acting up whenever a chalange runner allows something even if it's literally forced by the game.
@@bencegergohocz5988 Those people don't matter tbh, they can try their own challenges with those silly rules and see how far they get. Challenges are meant to be set when you CAN overcome them. Which means loop holes in the rules should still be allowed to exist for the content he can't find a way around to progress - events are actually pretty vital to these types of challenges because the primos are needed. Otherwise it wouldn't be a challenge, it'd just be 'get to this point and stop I guess since the game won't let you go further.' And Java's very good at being fair with it imo, so he should be allowed to set those exceptions since we all know he'll exhaust all his options and resources before admitting he can't do it.
It being Java, though, he'll try to find a way to do it without resorting to a non-geo character if he can.
For puzzles, it shouldn't matter

It wasn't mentioned during the video, but you did get a free polearm billet from doing the spiral abyss. So you could use the billet to get Yunjin a better weapon than a tassel.
Id actually suggest using Favonius on your Noelle! The ER and particles means youll actually get to use your burst more often, as she struggles to get her burst up. Probably not necessary later in game since youll do 3x geo characters, but for now it would help a lot!
Well she could definitely use the energy but she doesn't really need the favonius passive for particles since the entire team is providing geo particles
I don't think Navia will be able to have crystallize most of the time right? Unless the enemy is always affected by an element? Oh well she's still a very good character
Yeah. But she will still make bullets with her burst, albeit with a 2.4s cooldown.
Let's not forget her infusion, also Ninguang is her best partner, he can get her in 4.4 lantern rite

her scalings are high enough to function with just stavks from her burst
I feel like java can just use cryo for the kaeya quest, as it seems like there’s no way to glitch out of that quest anyways so it’s a forced situation 🤷

Technically he can use her the way she's designed and just have her fight elemental enemies like slimes
Since they apply an element on themself, you can crystallize them
You could also just build her normal attack focused use yunjin buff and just e to get the geo infusion I guess. Make her into an itto style character
Burst
or you can just spam her burst since it also gives a bit of gunbrella stacks
She is pretty decent without a team, weaker of courss but not completely nerfed.
Her burst does give charges and when you fight enemies with elemental infusions like slimes, wopperflowers and shielded units.
It should still outdamage all geo units outside of Itto since he gets more from Mono geo and she more from elementao teammates.
The good thing about a Geo only account is that a lot of Geo characters are made to have synergy with each other. Even Navia, who mostly wants other elements for crystallize, benefits greatly from Albedo for consistent crystallize reactions. Teambuilding is pretty easy. Gorou sticks with Itto, Albedo sticks with Navia and fill in the blanks from there.
The Ruin Hunter will fly up if the player is off the ground, or at least perceived to be so. You can trigger that state pretty easily using Albedo's platform, for example. And then if you have an archer, you can stun it by shooting it in the eye. So I'm guessing it was just a matter of where you stood on previous accounts.
You can also trigger it by merely standing on a slope above the ruin hunter. Basically, as long as you don’t stand on the ground on the same level / height the ruin hunter is on, it can perceive you as “flying” and launch itself into the air.
Found out the hard way, without a single ranged unit on the team.
If you ever need to find a way around certain domains, Moosashi has a series where he goes through the game with JUST the traveler in which he breaks a bunch of the different domains with various bugs and glitches. (Some have been patched)
I like how much effort you put into farming instead of just paying after showing your good will. Also I think it's ok to use other elements to unlock puzzles bc so much is locked behind puzzles and it would be a waste to never unlock it. Especially in events.
A little friendly advice:
* you can get 2 free claymore billet (one from Liyue Jewelry Store & 1 from the Mondstadt Swamp Barrier quest), you can craft Prototype Archaic (better for Navia in early game if you havent finished the Melusine Quest yet) and Whiteblind (Noelle's best f2p option).
* You can get more free fates and easy primos if you unlock Fountain of Lucine and Tree of Dreams. Fontaine and Sumeru are great treasure troves.
* Please test if the glitch still works, since last time you mentioned that it only work for Inazuma at AR 22 higher (if I remember correctly). The WolfLord will be easily accessible if that glitch still working

I read this, wished a ten pull on ayaka, got a Mona, was about to curse you (jk) but then… ayaka on zero pity
I don't know how other people would feel about it, but I wonder if it could be interesting to set challenges that you wouldn't normally do and by doing them you can earn a limited number of non-Geo attacks that cannot be used to damage enemies. To make it more interesting, these attacks are considered spent even if you don't succeed at what you wanted to do with them so if you try to spend them on something and blow it, you need to come up with another challenge and stock more non-Geo attacks to try again.
This is a great idea to enable progression on stuff that is element-locked!

Imagine being locked out of world ascension because you're forced to fight the electro hypostasis with a team that can't possibly beat it (like many of us probably did on accident the first time).
But he wasn't locked out?
Or does the electro hypostatis appear in the later ascensions?

I feel like because you went through the pain of the story quests that required specific elements/weapons twice, you should be allowed to just do them with other characters just so the series doesn't like slow down

whenever i see any video about just basically getting primos for any character reminds me of the swords only episode where java was trying to get albedo
Just in case, you can actually go to the golden wolf lord without doing the looooong quest, you just need to unlock the waypoint next to it, there isn't any fog there. So just use "boat" while avoiding the main foggy island.

It's kinda sad how Java had to use his own characters for Geo only and couldn't get enough points for the primos since the account is pretty new. But in the future that shouldn't be a problem, I'm sure he'll get lots of Geo characters.
Java dont have to worry, since geo releases once every year, he got lots of time to save up primos for geo only

Early tip for you: if you want noelle to deal damage through ult, you gotta build attack first. She only scales damage from defense when you get her c6, but spamming defense on yunjin is a perfect combo with noelle so keep that in mind (in fact to me your teams sounds super self explanatory, one being the itto gorou team and the other bein the yunjin and noelle/navia team)

So I've been thinking on a new rule for the series : If you are unable to proceed due to only using geo, you way use only lumine but on any element. I think this is the best "hardy cap" since it gives you access to a character you already use and theres still content that would be difficult with that condition such as the 3 electro monuments in Inazuma from the swords only account. You can also argue that in the childe fight cut sceen, lumine dual wields both anemo and geo therefore it doesn't defy your challenge lore wise. Anyway I think it's an interesting proposition and I would also like to see you retry at those electro monuments with the gambler's set again. Really exited for this series though. (posyed in the last vid but you were prolly editing by then so i doubt you saw it)

At this point genshin is a parkour game
I honestly think this would be more fun if it was crystalize only as opposed to geo only, where you could only use characters whos elements can produce crystalize, so the most compelx teams element wise you could have are dendro, geo, then either anemo or Cryo (though only cryo would get you shards)
That way you could technically use any character for puzzles as long as your team can still only create the one reaction out of it.
It would open up elements to you but keep geo and Navia in particular as the driving force of the challenge and still be challenging, while not being too tedious, since we've seen you work around all these shrines and puzzles before.
With geo alone it will take you forever to get enough usable characters to max the abyss so this could be more fun
By the way, a couple of updates ago (either in 4.1 or 4.2), they made that one quest with the flying enemy easier, and they made the WL ascension quest easier around the same time, too.

If you’re looking for ways to cheese certain domains, I have to recommend checking out moosashi’s traveller only series! Obviously not everything will be useful but I think there will be a fair bit that is! (Breaking domains, doing sumeru without dendro, getting to inazuma early) idk if he can help you with unlocking kaeya’s domain but once you get in there I bet he’ll be helpful
The new event weapon is very good on navia even without the Melusine boost I use it at R3 btw and it gives a decent attack bonus especially if your able to eventually get all the refinements and the melusine boosts but it’s still good without it.
I swaer that every time gava breakes domains its the exact way moosashi does in his traveler only account aka traveler-san

Just wanted to let you know it is possible to get all needed anemoculi without anemo. Dragonspine and stormterror's lair's roof give enough height to glide to them.

java you cannot stay at locked co op forever also MANY quests needs other elements
here is my idea: you can add a rule which makes you be able to use other elements but with restrictions
for example, you can only use other elements 3 times each video and if you do more you gotta do 10 pulls on other character banner for punishment
in this way i believe it would be more fun and reasonable

You could think about instituting a traveler pass system for each nation where you could use the travelers native ability three times per region. For sanity, and story continuation 😁

i think it's fine unlocking monuments fundamental to the story, because it's like when in older pokemon challenges you allow other pokemons to use hms otherwise it would be impossible to finish some. the challenge in my opinion is in doing the most and discover what you absolutely need others to complete it.

I knew they were taking the Hypostasis out of the Ascension domain which made sense and I agree with since it locked out half the elements for new players with limited rosters, but I didn't know they were taking everything out of there. They nerfed it a bit too much.

Since you have Fontaine unlocked, I’ll give you the location to another “bank robbing worthy” chest.
Go to the waypoint by the Adventurer’s Guild and head behind the building to the left of the waypoint. The left path is the main way around the building but there’s a chest once you get to the other side.
I'm pretty sure that even if the geo only series will not be the most popular one, it will certainly be incredibly appreciated among all geologists up in here

The ironic thing about Navia is she works better in a multi element team. So she can't have her full potential in a Geo Only account. Itto is actually better for this account than Navia.
She will still outdamage all 4 stars and we don't know when Itto gets a rerun.
He is definutely better on a mono geo team than her but she is not horrible, still better than the 4 stars.
One thing i got to say is i literally got navia from a one pull and also i love the video ❤

Someone probably mentioned it, but you might be able to trigger the cryo monuments if you get electro applied to yourself and then let the cryo slimes hit you. That will cause superconduct, which is aoe cryo damage, I think.
