Very nice GDR motorcycle MZ ES 250 from 1957. An East German classic. The MZ ES 250 is a motorcycle manufactured in 1957 by MZ, a former East German motorcycle manufacturer. It was part of the ES series of motorcycles manufactured by MZ from the mid 1950s to the early 1960s. The ES 250 was powered by a 250cc single-cylinder engine and was known for its reliability and durability. It was widely used for transportation in East Germany in the 1950s and 1960s.
In 1956, the ES 250 was made with two exhaust systems because of problems with a single outlet during development. These early models are called double ports. It had panniers, large side panels and a deep-drawn front fender as standard. From 1957 the second exhaust system was omitted and the control times on the cylinder were changed. Other changes included the frame, air filter system, crankshaft, struts and various decorative parts. Overall, there was extensive harmonization with the ES 175. From 1959, even more elastic, voluminous shock absorbers were installed. To distinguish it from the successor models, it is often erroneously referred to as the ES 250/0.

Pamiętam te motocykle jeździłem wtedy Simson później był Trophy kosmiczny wygląd na owe czasy bardzo dobre zawieszenie przedniego widelca charakterystyczne siedzenia w Polsce na tych motocykla jeździła milicja konstrukcja o wiele lepsza od czeskich cz całą młodość jeździłem na MZ😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤ później były motocykle japońskie co to jest Harley Davidson ale tamte czasy czasy MZ były najfajniejsze piękne❤❤❤❤❤

Zu meinem 18. Geburtstag hatte ich mir eine ES 250 mit Seitenwagen gekauft. Die ES mit der runden Lampe hatte in der DDR den Beinahmen "Schweine-ES". Als genau so hässlich habe ich sie auch empfunden. Als damaliger "Motocrosser" habe ich sie dann auch viel im Gelände bewegt. Das ging ganz gut, weil mein Vorgänger einen Strich2 Motor eingebaut hatte. Naja, das ging so lange bis der Rahmen, genau zwischen Tank und Sitzbank brach.
Was hast du dann mit dem Schmuckstück gemacht?
@@JessicasMotorWorld Ich habe sie gegen eine zerlegte Sport-AWO getauscht. Und diese dann so toll aufgebaut, das ich später meinen ersten Trabbi dafür bekommen hatte.

@@museumshofno3145 Richtig, aber ich bin an diesem Tag mit der "Max" gefahren. Dort durfte mein Vater die MZ bewegen.
