@@KissedByKen ,My parents deaths are two weeks apart ( different years though ) ,my dad was a football coach,so I've been collecting helmets for 21 years.Mt mom cooked and baked with the best of them,so I cook and bake for my family using her recipes.
Our life force and energy is borrowed. It is not ours. One day you have to return it to its rightful owner.
I remember hearing this movie quote and it helped me through grief and sadness. We dont have the answers for why things happen, to whom they happen, nor when. However, if we remember that we all share a unique living spirit inside each one of us but each one does not own their spirit it was lent to them @ birth, this in turn helps put our lives in perspective.
I actually heard it from Avatar the movie. My deepest condolences and sympathy for ur loss.

I've lost some people this year too. One was a cousin of mine who lost her life at a block party in Charlotte, NC back in June...senseless violence. Smh. And a former friend in late May. It's tough. I know the feeling. But life goes on, and so must we. #RIP to your relative, and God bless! 🙏🏾

Kendra it is ok to cry, tears are words that the heart can't speak. My condolences for your loss, life is shorter then time. We have to take time appreciate the moments we have shared with the ones we love and hold on to them. Give yourself time to grieve don't rush the process, if you rush it it does not heal faster. Take your time, above all pray the creator understands clearly what you're going through. We are only passing through this earthly place for a moment so that we can touch lives, hearts and minds while passing through. Try within reason to stay strong. You're not alone.

But hey, I know that losing a member of your family or a close friend, someone that you love, that you appreciate is not at all easy, it's really hard to forget ... because sometimes we can't even believe that this person is dead ... But hey, the Lord gave and he took ... It is life: we are born, we live and we die ... We just have to pass good time with those we love.
