Traditional song from the area of Thrace, Northern Greece. In a few lyrics, the song contains a strong message, celebrating both the proud character of a woman and the strength of love, which lead a young girl to disobey her mother and react against the conformist habits of her traditional community.
A tribute to women’s pride and claim for justice.
