- Hey friends, Here comes the full live set from my performance I played at ModularMadness last week at Discobude, Cologne. The set included all three tracks from my latest EP “Home” and some jamming around them. I messed up several times (including the end haha) and the lightning conditions weren’t optimal to film but I had an awesome time playing this and hope you will enjoy it too.

Ah, so exquisitely crafted, as usual, Miles! I haven’t seen you use a Moog until now, but that fat analog sound is terrific and it works so well with your Elektron basslines and synths.
You’re about the best I’ve ever seen at getting the maximum musicality from the fewest boxes. Great stuff man! 😎

@@MilesKvndra yeah this is ot- we hear all our own mistakes during performance, they all sounds pretty big to us, we always think it’s relly bad - the thing is, other people - even musicians -most of them do not hear at all :-)) and non musicians - just common listeners - doesn’t hear 99.99% of them 😂

Thanks for the sub! And yeah I can definitely say that they are great for performances. I've used them in a DAWless setup like this for quite some time now but they also work great in a hybrid setup - currently testing it with Ableton Live and it's a ton of fun!

@@beatsbybrian7417 in this setup I’m not using a mixer. All devices are daisy chained and the DT (which is the last device in the chain) is going directly into the venue’s mixer.

Nice work Miles, out of curiosity, do you use a mixer in this setup?
Hey Jeffry, thanks for the feedback! No for this setup I went directly from the Digitakt's outputs to the venue mixer and from there to the PA. No additional mixer used, I tried to pre-mix it as good as possible on the machines

Great set. Did you sequence the mother 32 with the Digitone or do you know if is possible to do so, like send an arpeggiator piece as midi to the mother 32 to stay dawless? The mother 32 is unfortunately not the best but the digitone arp is lit!!
Thank you! Yes the Digitakt is sequencing the Mother-32 which worked great so I think that would be the smoothest way if you want to stay DAWless. Unfortunately the Digitone’s arp doesn’t work for external MIDI tracks so you can just use it on the internal audio tracks which is annoying.
Ah thanks for answering in person ❤ That's unfortunate with the Digitone. Maybe they'll bring a software update in the future where you can do it with one track. Rn i can use the arp from the Microkorg, but then obviously you can not use the microkorg itself

Hii, wie genau sind die Instrumente miteinander verbunden? Finde einfach keine Anleitung wie man Digitakt + Digitone + Moog 32 miteinander verbindet... Gibt es da irgendwo ein Tutorial und welche Kabel man dafür benötigt? Das wäre unglaublich hilfreich :)
Moin! Ich glaube ich habe das in ein paar Tutorials angesprochen, aber im Endeffekt kommt’s drauf an, wie du die Routen willst und dann brauchst du nur ein paar Instrumenten und MIDI Kabel. Mein Routing war Audio: M-32 -> Digitone -> Digitakt und MIDI Digitakt (MIDI out) -> Digitone (MIDI in) und Digitone (MIDI through) -> M-32
