The plum seed is called a Saladito. You can suck it for a while. Very sour! They want you to scoop pieces of the mango and lick it as well. Sometimes people put the sour plum seed in a orange, grapefruit or lemon. Fun video!
If no one has beat me to it. Take a Gansito and put it in the freezer. Game changer!

This was a great Adventure! I enjoyed watching it a lot. I gotta say, I loved the Kenan & Kel Orange Soda reference! I was thinking it to myself right before the clip popped up, so a big LOL from me at that part. Definitely I'd say 5/5 stars for this video.
I grew up in an area where there were a lot of white people and Mexicans. Mexican kids would often bring in Mexican candies and you;d get them trick or treating. Most were always the spicy ones, I can't eat any of them without getting sick.
Maria’s are better dipping them into coffee, hot coco, etc.

@@OrdinaryAdventures The Maria's cookies are what we used to give babies who are teething and want something to chew. Quite messy for Mama and Daddy to clean up, but keeps baby occupied and less cranky when teething. My granddaughter loved these, almost her 1st solid finger food. I bought them by the large box for when I babysat with her. She would get upset if I didn't give her one for each tiny little hand!
This video just warmed my heart, Peter saying he should’ve been born mexican because he likes our flavours! & Kitra being super sweet about pronunciation, we don’t care! We appreciate 💗🤗💗

Mexican snacks are so amazing, my favourite thing is putting lime and hot sauce into a bag of chips and shaking it. I also love putting tajín on cucumbers so yummy 😊 love the video!!

Q&A: If Savi’s Lightsaber Workshop ever gets new themes, what do you think they would base it on. Also, what if they made new kinds of Chassis for you hilt, so like a double bladed Chassi, a Curved Chassi, or maybe even a Shoto hilt Chassi, I think that would be an interesting idea to attract more customers.

Most of this you can buy at Food 4 Less, El Super, Vallartas or small local Mexican Markets. The Saladito you're supposed to suck on and it dries out your mouth so you eat the mango puree off the spoon to balance it out as the dried plumb slowly reconstitutes. But when I was a kid down in San Diego we'd buy packs of the saladitos and just suck on those on hot summer days and drink tang with them.

Someone from Colombia said to me one time about mexican candy: "it's funny how your candy its all spicy, instead of being sweet" And I've never thought of that but he was right. I can't imagine trying those soury sweet spicy candy for the first time and as an adult. The taste must be really weird. They are not my favorite either. Anyways, really fun video.

I had a clown faced Mexican candy treat the other day, it was like marshmallows dipped in chocolate and a smile face with gummy’s, I forgot what it was called but sure enough it was very very good!

It’s fun to see how you are so expressive about eating this rather different candy. As a Mexican, I’m used to just seeing kids over here eating these thing without any expression, it’s just very mundane, and I find funny how you are shocked or surprised at these flavors. Really enjoyed the video! Stay safe guys, we love you. By the way, there are lots of other Mexican candy you are missing out on, for example there’s this thing called “Cocadas” which is basically a chunk of shredded coconut sticked together and it usually has different colors depending on the flavor, like a yellow mango one, pink strawberry and many more
Saldito goes in the candy. I just put the salidito with lemon. Some just suck on it.
Keenan and Kel were on Nickelodeon's All That prior to the Keenan and Kel show spinning off from it. A good majority of the skits originated on All That.
No some of us we don’t know how to eat that candy but the other are very good specially the pelon

The Maria's cookies are EXACTLY that. They are Mexican tea cookies, you can eat with tea, with milk, with coffee, and etc. I LOVE Maria's cookies, they are not too sweet and low in calories.

Pelones and Pulparindos are the entry candies that we give to our children in Mexico to prepare them for more spicy candy. My 5-year-old tried them when he was 3, and then slowly move to more "aggressive stuff". I still love them, because they taste like childhood

I just found this classic gem on y’all’s channel. I grew up in Mexico City eating most of those snacks , and drinking some of those sodas. You should make another video trying even more Mexican snacks . Gansitos also come in snack sizes cake form . You should try those .

some hacks to improve the quality of your snacks!!
1. throw some gansito's in the refrigerator & eat them when they're chilled. I swear they taste so much better
2. spread some peanut butter on one side of the Marias cookie & place another cookie on top & bang!!

Peter, we’re now reclaiming you as a Mexican, but you need to try takis first! I highly recommend trying the original Gansitos! Those are delicious! And add cajeta to your María cookies and drink it with coffee! I REALLY enjoyed this video, it was funny and please try more Mexican sweets! ✨

They make much smaller candies with the spice inside. My favorite are watermelon hard candy with spice inside. I love that tamarind candy that you push through the tube 😋
I was so excited to see the title of this video. What’s great about SoCal, you can get most of these snacks from any grocery store. You’ll usually see the De La Rosa Mazapan and Jarritos in stores. Also Mandarina is the BEST Jarritos. You guys should try different flavors.

I would love to see you try some UK crisps and sweets, but not sure which ones you already have in the US. Do you have the Cadbury Dairy milk marvellous creations range, one contains jelly beans and popping candy? Also would love to see what you think of some of our UK theme parks such as Alton Towers, Legoland Windsor and Cadbury world to see how you think they compare to the US parks.

It’s made in Mexico but all Hispanics grow up eating that. I’m Guatemalan and that’s what I grew up with here in LA lol ;) you can find them all at Latin American Markets too, they’re not that foreign in the states. So if you run out, you can always get more.

The look that both of you gave when Alexa went off was very familiar. When y'all mentioned our Alexa ours replied hmmm I don't know that. An they me and my wife gave the same look. It's so odd what sets her off. The goodies started off strong but then came the divide of flavors.

Swap Meets are wonderful places to find food. They do the fruit with chili on top and Mexican Fair Corn or maybe you have Pozole at the food truck. OMG I miss the Swap Meet XD The Rebanadas are truly one of the things I get ever time I see them. I love that snack so much.

The salted plum is great in a Michelada. I guess in Mexico they put gummy candy, Chamoy, Tajin, a straw with Tamarindo candy coating on the straw and different bases like Clamato in beer. They are sooo good. I have even seen people top them off with shrimp.
