The plum seed is called a Saladito. You can suck it for a while. Very sour! They want you to scoop pieces of the mango and lick it as well. Sometimes people put the sour plum seed in a orange, grapefruit or lemon. Fun video!
This video just warmed my heart, Peter saying he should’ve been born mexican because he likes our flavours! & Kitra being super sweet about pronunciation, we don’t care! We appreciate 💗🤗💗
This was a great Adventure! I enjoyed watching it a lot. I gotta say, I loved the Kenan & Kel Orange Soda reference! I was thinking it to myself right before the clip popped up, so a big LOL from me at that part. Definitely I'd say 5/5 stars for this video.
It’s fun to see how you are so expressive about eating this rather different candy. As a Mexican, I’m used to just seeing kids over here eating these thing without any expression, it’s just very mundane, and I find funny how you are shocked or surprised at these flavors. Really enjoyed the video! Stay safe guys, we love you. By the way, there are lots of other Mexican candy you are missing out on, for example there’s this thing called “Cocadas” which is basically a chunk of shredded coconut sticked together and it usually has different colors depending on the flavor, like a yellow mango one, pink strawberry and many more
Pelones and Pulparindos are the entry candies that we give to our children in Mexico to prepare them for more spicy candy. My 5-year-old tried them when he was 3, and then slowly move to more "aggressive stuff". I still love them, because they taste like childhood
I loved the look on Kitra’s face eating the candies at the start of the vid. Those cheese curls sounded delicious too. Keep doing more of these food videos, please!
You guys did great eating these candies, the slap candy you needed to compress it much more so it doesn’t get sticky, the one with the lil sour salty ball worth the spoon was supposed to be eaten separately or together as you finish it! Good video 10/10 Yader’s
The salted plum is great in a Michelada. I guess in Mexico they put gummy candy, Chamoy, Tajin, a straw with Tamarindo candy coating on the straw and different bases like Clamato in beer. They are sooo good. I have even seen people top them off with shrimp.
Most of this you can buy at Food 4 Less, El Super, Vallartas or small local Mexican Markets. The Saladito you're supposed to suck on and it dries out your mouth so you eat the mango puree off the spoon to balance it out as the dried plumb slowly reconstitutes. But when I was a kid down in San Diego we'd buy packs of the saladitos and just suck on those on hot summer days and drink tang with them.
Mexican snacks are so amazing, my favourite thing is putting lime and hot sauce into a bag of chips and shaking it. I also love putting tajín on cucumbers so yummy 😊 love the video!!
I had a clown faced Mexican candy treat the other day, it was like marshmallows dipped in chocolate and a smile face with gummy’s, I forgot what it was called but sure enough it was very very good!
I was so excited to see the title of this video. What’s great about SoCal, you can get most of these snacks from any grocery store. You’ll usually see the De La Rosa Mazapan and Jarritos in stores. Also Mandarina is the BEST Jarritos. You guys should try different flavors.
No joke when you said, "do you know who loves orange soda" my husband and I had an exact word by word scenario as you guys did in your video while Kitra quoted Kel. It made me laugh so hard! 👍
Yumm I grew up in Mexico 🇲🇽 City and all does snacks bring back some great memories with Friends and Family and now Ordinary adventures will one of them .. Great video.
Jarritos Cola is so good! As a Canadian, i loved that 'snacks' video, and also really enjoyed this one! Props to you guys for continuing to produce great content even while the heart and soul of your channel is put on hold. :) Always enjoying your adventures!
The Maria's cookies are EXACTLY that. They are Mexican tea cookies, you can eat with tea, with milk, with coffee, and etc. I LOVE Maria's cookies, they are not too sweet and low in calories.
They make much smaller candies with the spice inside. My favorite are watermelon hard candy with spice inside. I love that tamarind candy that you push through the tube 😋
This was pleasant, having grown up in a mexican family Ive grown up with the candy and foods and share the same reaction. Im not a fan of spicy candy, never have been
I just found this classic gem on y’all’s channel. I grew up in Mexico City eating most of those snacks , and drinking some of those sodas. You should make another video trying even more Mexican snacks . Gansitos also come in snack sizes cake form . You should try those . Side note , when your Alexa came on , and you talked to her, our very own Alexa came on asking us to repeat ourselves because she “couldn’t understand us” 😂
It’s made in Mexico but all Hispanics grow up eating that. I’m Guatemalan and that’s what I grew up with here in LA lol ;) you can find them all at Latin American Markets too, they’re not that foreign in the states. So if you run out, you can always get more.
I grew up in an area where there were a lot of white people and Mexicans. Mexican kids would often bring in Mexican candies and you;d get them trick or treating. Most were always the spicy ones, I can't eat any of them without getting sick.
Keenan and Kel were on Nickelodeon's All That prior to the Keenan and Kel show spinning off from it. A good majority of the skits originated on All That.
Swap Meets are wonderful places to find food. They do the fruit with chili on top and Mexican Fair Corn or maybe you have Pozole at the food truck. OMG I miss the Swap Meet XD The Rebanadas are truly one of the things I get ever time I see them. I love that snack so much.
You should try making those deep fried burritos that are at Disney. That would be awesome! And also ordinary adventures who is your favorite dark lord?
As always, love the reactions! I have tried and like some of these. How about trying Korean snacks? The Kenan and Kel reference was 😄 funny. Really hope to meet you guys next year when I go to DL!
Q&A: If Savi’s Lightsaber Workshop ever gets new themes, what do you think they would base it on. Also, what if they made new kinds of Chassis for you hilt, so like a double bladed Chassi, a Curved Chassi, or maybe even a Shoto hilt Chassi, I think that would be an interesting idea to attract more customers.
You might think this is a nitpick, but Kitra, you need to say, “blank out of 5 Kitras” more! Peter says it often, and that’s the fun of your ratings scale! Love youse!
Ha.......Is it odd that I enjoy watching you two eat?? Who would have thought.......?? Love the pronunciations and I have had almost all of these types growing up, never really cared for most of the stuff, thanks for sharing!!
some hacks to improve the quality of your snacks!! 1. throw some gansito's in the refrigerator & eat them when they're chilled. I swear they taste so much better 2. spread some peanut butter on one side of the Marias cookie & place another cookie on top & bang!! I've eaten these snacks my entire & completely vouch for them :)
The pronunciation was funny to listen to, but I give you guys props for at least being very positive and open minded about what you tired. Not going to lie, I was very surprised by how much you guys liked a lot of these snacks.
Bimbo is a bread company in Mexico. It's a brand. They have really good products. Gansitos translates to little geese. Thats a round version of thee original. Thee original Gansitos are Twinkie shaped. I love those too!
Watching this episode with my Mexican boyfriend and he has some tips for you guys: The Gansitos taste really good cold from the fridge. Duvalin usually does come with a plastic spoon. The sucker will get sweeter if you keep going. Love your show! I’m supposed to go to LA soon and work on a tv show so hoping to see you guys at Disney sometime! ❤️
Your lockdown videos perfect for May the 4th Be With You and now Cinco De Mayo lol. Anyway your StarWars glass gave me sad flashbacks that every glass I got when I was little, broke 😢lol. I think they were from Burger King.
You guys were hilarious on this episode!!😂😂😂. I have a tip on the Slaps candy. Put it in the fridge for a while, until it hardens up so the candy doesn't melt in your hands. I also take the stick off and roll up the Slaps and take bites out of it. The blue Slaps are my favorite. They have a spice to it. Kitra, don't be scared to eat some of our candy, its delicious as you seen. Peter (Pedro in Spanish), I think you're part Hispanic. You really seemed to love most of our candy. Good job! See you guys on the next video Kitra and Pedro! 😁👌👍. By the way, I'm guessing 2,400 calories.
Very entertaining. You guys are great. I always like seeing background decor so you guys may need to move the camera back a bit. 19:35 reaction is Awesome.
Duvalin used to have a small spoon but for some reason, they don't have them anymore probably because kids would accidentally or unknowingly eat them. but I could be wrong. Also fun hack: try stacking the maria cookies in a cup then pour some milk, crack the cookies and enjoy.
😮 they opened a mazapán without breaking it
Impossible
Proof they are jedi
That is so hard to do u usually have to do it really carefully
To this day I have yet to be able to unwrap the Mazapan in one piece. Kitra and Peter are Good !!!!
