Thank you for this. I’m singing at church next Sunday for the first time as our worship leader took a new job. I’m going to play this one as one of the 4 I’m suppose to have ready.
WOW... That was awesome . ive only been playing three months but I feel that God wants me to play this song.. So I want to play it for a talent show at church camp. I have 2 months but this tutorial is a lot of help. THANK YOU!!!!! 😄⛪
Ha - thanks! I didn't know people were waiting on this one :). I haven't made a lot of tutorials lately - I'm trying to get back to doing more of them.
Needed this to figure out the key stuff! Thanks! PS. Your video on what to expect and how to act when auditioning helped encourage me to try out! Thank you! Love your channel.
Great tutorial as per your usual. I'm going to do this next week Mon. for VBS. with a good soprano harmonizing with me. I'll capo three. Prayers appreciated. I think I have the timing down but thanks for the metronome @ 75bpm tip.
Thanks for sharing the video. Great stuff. Im a little confused with the stunning pattern when changing between chords. Is it always 1. 2. 3. 4. D Udud Udud. Du Where 1,2,3 and 4 represent different chords?
BRIANNNN, stop giving me songs i want to learn. I've got so many already!! I'd noticed that your tutorials hadn't been coming quite as quickly. I know you're probably busy but they are a great resource. My struggle is usually getting the strumming pattern and since you provide it i've always loved using your videos. Don't know what songs are in your plans but if you can, can you do some Vertical Worship songs? One particularly "The Rock Won't Move" :D
hello .. my brother I have worked a lot with your videos .. and blessed through you .. God has done wonders with our Ministry of Praise that our Church here in London has .. would be the gift of God through you .. if you can me publishing the tabs of songs .. or a website I get the same .. please .. since now you my thanks!
This is very helpful,Thank you so much tho I have a problem as a guitar beginner, could you please make a tutorial for how to fine tune the guitar, please🙏🙏🙏
This is a lovely song, Lou Fellingham does a great job singing. Your tutorial I found very helpful, but as you can sing, you should stage thru the chord progressions in relation to the vocals. you kind of did this with the verse, but didnt overlay the vocals on the refrain. Seems it took me twice as long to master this than it should have done. Anyway, great job Thank You
Hi! God bless you all! Does anybody know this song??: "There is a fountain, flowing from Jesus, cleansing and healing all who'd be whole, with clean healing water, New hearts are given..." and if you know it, can you give me a link to the full lyrics or to a music video?? Thanks a lot! :)))
The 'C' chord he plays is actually a cadd9 not C major, its sounds similar and therefore he played the cadd9 verison since its easier in the case even though it said to play a C major with an open e string on the chord diagram....and the '/E ' in the chord means let the low E string play out instead of muting it with your thumb as you usually do when playing c major or cadd9.

Do you have any advice on how to get a good acoustic guitar tone for live worship services? I can’t always depend on our sound tech to dial it in.
Looking forward to the finger picking lessons!
Would you do Jesus you have won me, by bethel music???
11:44
his guitar is so soft sounding, mine seems harsh and loud or something. is it the guitar? help plz
I was thinking the same thing! It might have to do with the specific guitar, but I also think it has to do with how you strum it...
Your a beginner so keep practicing. Ha lol you are bad at guitar.
Select good quality guitar and tune it and most importantly pray to your god and start playing you shall succeed
AMEN 🙏
Do a tutorial of Jesus I need you by hillsong
I like so much!, Thanks!
I'm having trouble with the strum pattern. Any help?

Great video, thank you very much. I am a beginner, please could you explain the strum using arrows, for example: ↓↓↓ ↑↑
Thank you.
lol at 7:42 u say to play C/E, but the way you put your fingers is completely different? What Gives?

I have a question. Is that the tune setting EADGBE?
where are the walk ups?????????
what guitar is that? i need to know! :))
Maybe this one? instagram.com/p/uN5NRDlOQ7/
It's a Martin D-35. Same one that Rick Yentzer linked to on Instagam. Thanks!
2021 anybody?
helpfull.
I like ur manly voice 👍
Plz teach the finger-style
You lost me on second verse, with no guiding cords on screen 😢
The strumming and the timing get so confusing
+TechnoMann159 Try muting the strings while practicing the timing
It's helping me out a lot and it might help you out too :)
how do i get this pads
I think there are 2 downstrokes to start with.
Oh k sorry, I heard an interviewer say it Mayer, God bless.
Really? Was Matt there? Curious if he said anything or just let it go :)
would of like to see some travis picking instead of just the strums.
Show more scale bro
It's pronounced like Mayer
Matt Maher himself pronounces it like 'Mar'. If you watch interviews with him, I've never heard an interviewer or host pronounce it 'Mayer'...
