Sounds like a great pedal, but it's rare for LEDs to appear *that* blinding just on a video. It was the first thing I noticed (after Frank Itt's superb playing). It must be even worse IRL -- and I'm not surprised that Gregor mentions this issue early on in the video. I've had to modify a number of my own pedals due to painfully bright status LEDs. Come on manufacturers: just because you can, doesn't mean you should...
I love the optics of this older BB series. Unfortunately when I finally decided to buy one, they were replaced by the new (current) model. Which I have and it's great, but I still would love to have had the BB2025x possibly in white.
I clicked on this video because I have a BB1025X. Great construction, heavy instrument, stable, really well built... except the pickups, specifically the bridge pickup. I stuck an EMG BQC preamp to help boost the signal and cleanup the hum, and it does sound better. What doesn't work though is the fact that the pickups are non-standard size and there aren't any pickups in that size in existence to swap them out. The older BB's with the big pickguard look great, but for use, I would go with the newer ones, as they have more standard parts and are still well built. They don't look as good as the older ones, but they sound great...
@@emersonvella I agree the new one sound good, play good and the craftsmanship that went it to them is also great. But still...everytime I see one of the BB1025Xs or BB2025Xs...I'm just like "I want one" 😉
@basstheworldofficial I'll see what I can do, my tag didn't seem to work haha. Thanks for the reply, you guys are my favorite bass related channel. I'm getting some shirts shortly.
Always a pleasure to hear Mr. "Bass Face" Itt play, but this pedal sounds a little farty to me. I'm not a big dirt user, so thus far I'm more than satisfied with my Deluxe Bass Big Muff for fuzz.
I bet he looks himself at the mirror every day so I'd say he already knows that and doesn't need the reminder of a random on the internet. You are probably sincerely concerned about his health, but those kind of remarks about people's looks are not cool man.

Long live Frank's bass face
He had the best bass face in the business
Bass and fuzz are meant to be together ❤❤❤❤
This fuzz sounds like Frank's face.

Frank grooves so hard he looks disgusted with himself
Frank seems to approve of it.
One day, son, all this will be yours.
The Krytical Mass sounds great! How well does it work with active basses?
No issues as far as I can tell, but as all fuzzes - it sounds better with passive basses
gregor i love you man
Let’s be honest: We are ALL here because of Frank’s bass faces

What are the differences? I haven't seen anything to compare.

Ah. I totally misread the comment, thought it was about pedal.
It's a cool looking bass.

I'd love to see you guys cover some @fuzzrociouspedals pedals!

Oh my God, that Fuzz sounds finger licking good.

why did they make the LEDs so bright. I made the mistake of looking at it to adjust settings without taping them over.
I was making the same exact face when he started playing and you guys panned to his face. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Muito legal !!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Hi Gregor, is Frank your dad? (Joke never gets old :D)
Frank needs to lose weight if he's going to live much longer...
NOT an insult. health issues are very real

Yes Frank 👍
