Great overview! Seems like a great one done amp/dac for a clean setup. Hope you get a chance to check out the new topping d90 III Discrete dac. It adds 10 peq. And you can save your profiles to the dac. Be nice if rme adi would update there dacs. Wall of sound versus d90 discrete.
this seems lovely! does it compare at all to the j2 or j3 by geshelli? i ask most cause j2 seems to be a bechmark at its pricepoint. how about the far more expensive rose technics rt-5000? ty as always my guy!
I don't have the MDA1 yet, but from the little bit of reading I've done they should sound about identical, with the MDA1 being better built and having more connection options. There could be a sound difference for all I know, but I'd imagine it wouldn't be huge. I can't wait to get one honestly, mostly for the connection options.

Can anyone compare the SMSL Raw MDA1 to the Topping DX3 Pro Plus?
