So i used to work at pick n pull, the reason the large vehicles are on the ground is because a customer at another location in san jose or something. He decided to cut out a part of the frame off of a truck and the wheel stands they use failed to hold up the truck properly after him cutting out some frame and the truck came down on him and hurt him badly so we had to switch to different stands for the trucks and suv’s.

Someone actually died from crushing himself at pick and pull, you gotta request to have the suv lifted on special stands now , and they put them back on the ground when there done

My nice just crashed her mom’s old 2008 Honda Accord. It’s K24 still starts up and drives but they are gonna sell it to the junk yard. Wish I had the space cuz I would yank that k24 and keep it as I know that car was well maintained.
K24 is one of the best race engines

Not too certain but cams and pistons are for sure different. Different compression. Most that go k24 go with the tsx a2 rbb.

Is it worth it to swap the accord 160 hp engine into a 88-00 civic? Would it be faster than a gsr since it has more torque? Its still dohc and uses regular gas.
The k24 A4 with bolt-ons should be the same horsepower as a GSR in the k24 A4 uses 87 A k24a2 out of a TSX use 91

Ok and what is the easy way to pass CARB inspection.
Engine has to be a newer model year that came with that engine, USDM, not JDM, like a K20A3 or Z3 from Civic Si, you need all the stock emissions and stock manifolds with stock ECU hooked up, verified by Honda dealer, and running without a CEL light on. Not sure you can pass Calif BAR swap with K20A2 unless a Civic Si USDM came with that engine from the factory.

Anything is cheap at the junk yard its the mounts and ecu that will cost you in kswap
correct. but the engine is also the big factor. rsx type S is like upwards of $2k+ if you find one in the yard, maybe $350 and if you find the ecu, its one less thing to purchase and then it would be just the kpro you'd need. ktuner if budget is tighter and then ktuned immobilizer delete if youre really on a budget.
