  • Well with the feedback I received from you guys I will start pushing out cockpit switch videos! By the end of this series we will have covered the entire airbus cockpit talking about every switch as it corresponds to Flight Simulation.
This Episode we will go over the entire ADIRS panel. I will talk about normal procedure to align, and go over each and every situation you may encounter with FAULTs regarding your ADIR.
*Note the content herein is for simulation purposes only, and not to be used for real world flight training. Please consult your company training material for the most recent specifications and operations of your aircraft. Some items regarding aviation safety will be intentionally skipped*

You’re going to turn these x-plane airbuses into study-level aircraft, and I appreciate it!

@@V1Sim If I may ask here, which airbus do you prefer more when it comes to the real thing, Toliss or FF? It seems that FF model is more detaild when it comes to the systems , also they implemented more ecam actions then Toliss.

Thanks, I like the in depth description whether it's simulated in XP11 or not. Meanwhile I'm more an FSlabs@p3d flyer and I try it out there.

I've heard about "waiting for the ON BAT light to extinguish" before, but never have read it on any actual FCOM, FCTM or QRH procedure. Is there a possilbility that this is a legacy coming from older aircraft models? Sort of a non standardized practice that turns out to be just a good method.
    Thanks in advance.

Interesting, so no GPS alignment. Some military jets can align in the air if necessary (not sure if GPS or not), i saw that it is possible on the F18 Hornet in DCS.

I know the potential of this happening is remote... but if all 3 ADIRS lose power intermittently while flying (power issue, lightning strike, general failure, etc) and lose their position, how can you reset if you are flying?
