I totally agree, as they always want to play what is meta but don't want to try new things, they make the game very stressful, even in High Voltage they didn't let anyone have fun.
When I started playing this was one of the first decks I was able to play when I started working my way up through series 3. I’m glad to see it’s coming back in. I’ll have to find a sub for Proxima because I don’t have her.
I’ve been playing this deck. Climbed from 800 to 319. It’s surprisingly strong when you get the ball rolling and while cosmos is a thing it’s played a lot more on turn 3 or 4 to protect from interaction. It’s nearly impossible to read the numbers you are outputting in the end
I understand your stress Jeff, right now Snap is not as enjoyable as it used to be. Now everyone is focused on playing what is meta and not getting new things, even in High Voltaje I had that stress. By the way, it was a pleasure to play against you in a game, I wanted to see the complete combo you made of Será/BK/Valentina 😁
Gambit's design is perfect from a flavor perspective, but oh so terrible from a gameplay perspective. It's reminiscent to Crackle in Hearthstone, a card that would randomly deal between 2-6 damage. They are cards that are almost always unfun for at least one of the players.
48:01 this bit of "never lost a coin flip before" followed by being forced to coin flip because of location variance and losing it was comedy gold.
All of these "Your opponent can't have any fun" cards are really making the game hard to enjoy right now.
Yep. Even winning against them feels exhausting.
But they can be very fun to play, not even in a try hard way

But getting your turns just demolished by cosmo since early year one is still good to see every once in awhile
25:13 I tend x2 through the ad breaks when I don't see you talking, and watching you vibe pedal dance through this one was hilarious at speed.

I agree the Storm change is overall good but I'm sad it put the final nail in Cerebro 2's coffin. :(
Jeff think of the children!!!!! 13:58
Does this deck worth to be played without scorn?
Yeah it was fine before Scorn. Still fine after if a bit weaker.
@@JeffHoogland the deck is live in ranked next season or just fun?
This deck is incredibly competitive.

They probably got lockjaw and blade and assumed your deck was something very different.

Cosmo was very prevalent when silver surfer dropped
I swear some people don't actually want to play the game, they just want to slam 3 cards and move on to the next match.
Jeff out here getting in his Discardio.
Im one of those players that just play one deck, Negative Destroy 😅
This has been my deck this season. Something about it just… feels right.
Proxima midnight... Everywhere I go I see you.. :(
Is this because you run into opposing discard decks all day, or lamenting that you didn't pick her up when you had the chance and can't play with her?
@@FrankiePeanuts I just came back to the game a few weeks ago and I wish I had her for discard decks
Alioth AND Cosmo in a deck? That's evil. Is it worth running Echo in this deck? Or any deck?
There's a Dare Devil + Super Giant deck that makes good use out of Echo.
Sadly necessary with so many Gambit players running around.
