This is our second time in London so we definitely focused more on some good places to eat rather than must do and see 😅 London is huge on really good restaurants with some amazing chefs and we just scratched the surface. However, London is a city that deserves a few days if it is your first time coming. There are so many beautiful monuments in London to see and even take part off. Hope you enjoy! ❤️

Oh the Ritz are notorious for this. They give no leeway at all. I still think it’s very stinky of them though. I’m going for tea there in a few weeks so I’ll eat some extra cakes in your honour 😄😄😄. Lovely vlog. Glad you enjoyed our capital city 😊
LOL totally our fault. I mean in a way I am glad they are as strict because it makes the experience that much more special but that hefty cancelation fee def hurt!! Yes please do! ❤️😃 Enjoy your time & thank you for watching!
@@mrsleyva What you could have tried is to rebook on the spot to avoid the cancellation fee but for say a few days later, so outside the cancellation window, and then cancelled that reservation a little later. Might work for future similar situations.
@ChrisP-Crunchy Hi, unfortunately the fee was for the cancellation we made for that day, so even if we would have rebooked we still missed that scheduled reservation. Hopefully, that makes sense.

Hi 🙂 Ty for watching. It would have been ok in the US, he changes between crisp white sneakers or loafers whrn we go out to nice places here. But yes the UK def has its standards & tbh I love it.
In the US you'll walk into a super nice restaurant & you'll have someone with a beach cover & sandals 🤦🏻♀️ LOL

I understand and appreciate the strict elevated dress code in such hotel as the Ritz, however crisp white sneakers (esp by high end luxury brands) should be accepted…and either way one is sitting at the table, shoes are not viewable and not a sight for sore eyes. So sorry u had to go thru that..I luv ur attitude to make light of the situation and laugh about it 👍🏻☺️

Hi, it was unfortunate but they do send an email with the details. We just didnt read thoroughly to understand that sneakers were not allowed. 😖
The Ritz has standards that I'm sure their customers appreciate. Nothing to be ashamed about.

@@mrsleyva Rudy looked good in his running shoes but not everyone does and I think they're trying to weed out a certain crowd. Rudy is not part of that crowd but he just happened to be wearing running shoes. They're doing the same in some restaurants in Toronto. In the picture 10 years ago he was wearing dress shoes. LOL.
@marlenepopov8469 Yea, I totally get it. & even we were like 'crap the shoes do look bad' 😂 it had been raining all day! Isnt that funny? About the older picture!!! To be young & walking around lLondon in dress shoes & 4 inch heels 🫠🫠🫠 LOL
I feel your choice of destinations to visit here is way too pricey - I’m a Londoner and there are tons of much better much less showy or pretentious places to dine - even if I had a lottery win I wouldn’t spend those prices just to eat somewhere shushy.
Hi, & I respect your decision & totally agree that there are other places that will have amazing food for less. But we enjoy doing both, this time around in London we decided to splurge on some nicer restaurants & that way we can also determine what's worth it or not 🙂
