Bro this vid was uploaded a hour ago how did u comment a day ago also i dont know if u remember i asked about how i should buy my first racket and u helped so ill always be following i wanted to buy the yonex arcsaber 11 pro but even that was too big of a budget for me so i bought a racket from a brand called young i am using it and its alright It was about 1700Rupees
I know people who were using some at the meetups. Feathers were durable, but the form of the shuttlecock would bent out of its original shape. The brand is discontinued on Temu. Too expensive to buy from the company website.
Recently got into badminton at the age of 49. Started end of September 2024. Been going twice a week since then. I am loving it but have understood that having the right shoes makes a big difference. Just subbed your channel and am hoping to learn lots from you. Thank you for teaching us, we appreciate you brother!
Aye, we're about the same then.. I am 50 and started to play badminton again early this year.. I primarily play tennis (used to play tournaments) but just can't find a playing partner or group at my level, so had to switch to badminton. The last time I played badminton was at least 35 years ago 😅.. here's hoping we get a good exercise for a healthy body 💪🏻
@@nevil6833 Thats what my classmate told me, my alpsport racket will only last 2weeks but its been over a year now since i bought it, and im also a aggresive player
I was given a dollar store racket to play 2 vs. 1 (me) in a game of backyard badminton. I was gentle, but the strings broke within the sweetspot. Managed to win despite having no strings in the middle. I did not hit any smashes.
Hey there! Great video as always and i have a request could you please review the Maxbolt Gallant Tour ? It really is one of the best that i play with and would love to see a video on it.
Hey, I had a question going in my mind since very long time. As recommended by racket manufactures for string tension they recommend to have higher tension in cross string than the mains. Even in the video around 6 months ago where you asked Lee Zii Jia, there was one exception of "Su Li Lang" his mains were at 32lbs & cross at 31lbs. Even in your pervious video around 2 years ago where you asked Viktor Axelsen his strings were [31x33]. But in Viktor's recent youtube shorts video he said [33x32]. So, it'll be really helpful and insightful to know why & what are the advantages of keeping the tension high in the mains than the cross
Have to say, quite disappointed that Temu is still promoted with affiliate links even with such poor quality items. Cheap isn't an excuse to produce items that go straight into the bin. Coming from South East Asia, I don't see how the bag, shoes and racquet are any cheaper compared to entry level equipment from some second-tier brands that you can find and even try out in brick-and-mortar shops, but that could be different in the UK.
This is what I am noticing at the club. Whenever random people show up to meetups or socials with cheap equipment, regular players are in fear of racket clashes. The regulars assume the random people are beginners or backyard badminton players & avoid playing with them. Why? The equipment is possibly made by an in-house brand sold at large department stores (car, kitchen, laundry, bathroom, gardening, toys, lower grade sports equipment, etc.). Some badminton brands, including racket sports brands that do not make professional badminton products, are making badminton equipment not featured in their catalogs to be sold in multi-sporting goods stores. When players don't recognize the model of the racket, they will avoid playing with people using such equipment. Is it right or wrong? I do understand why no one wants their pro racket clashed by a $20 racket.
Hey ck can you please make reviews about victor's td version rackets ( ryuga td, ryuga 2 ts, ars 90k 2 td). And also a video about rackets in 7k rupees ( 85 usd or 65 eur) it would be really helpful.
Those shuttles must have been the worst shuttles I've ever seen, like seriously, what a waste for all the ducks that died to make those shuttles. The other shirts and bag products seem pretty ok to buy on a budget tho. Props to them for that.
Please can you test the the thruster F ultra ( my play style is balance. I have played for 3 years and looking forward to a not to stiff racket( medium stiff is good enough))
HI amazing video ck! just purchased the nanoflare nextage, and I would love if you could produce a detailed video of the best rackets within the range of 7k(rupees) or around 90$(US) and compare them with the nanoflare nextage and other rackets.
I bought temu badminton shit well my dad did for fun and the racquet that came was actually not bad (even thought it was listed as carbon fibre it was total bs) and the shuttle was made of a material probably factory made feathers
I currently use Tectonic 7. I play both double and single and am seeking for all-round racket, slight head heavy. Should I change to Axforce 80 for a better attack feelings. If not, can you suggest some racket I should try. Tksm ❤
Hello ck... I'm following you for a quite long time.... I'm very interested to buy the yonex strider beat shoes... would you pls make a review on it❤.. love from India ❤
Is there any geek who could name a few players who used the yonex armortec 900 technique back in the days? It's been always my favourite racket, but I can't find any knowledge about players who used it
@@CKYew to be fair, aliexpress/temu stuff works well on things like bike accessories etc. Where clearly it's been over marketed and taken for a ride. Not so sure on badminton stuff, tried so many off brands and have to say there's some "tech"/quality behind it which does make a difference. Does it justify the price nowadays? Kinda no, but better than buying 10 rackets and only finding 3 that meets performance expectations and quality control 😅. Carltons were great for the buck before it got sold off. We used to get a few "quality rejects" off random well known suppliers but they clamp that down/less popular nowadays. If I may throw a suggestion, if you were to do it again, try the niche stuff like the £100 shuttle launchers, stringing tools, strings, bags, shirts etc. They're easier to find a diamond in the rough 💎.

Really evil platform
Review racket from felet pliss😢
@CKYew can I get the racket please mine broke
Using Temu is like buying the lottery, can’t expect reliable quality. The suttlecock is just horrendous for the price tbh.

ALP sport rackets are very popular in the philippines. Some club players in my country use them
Finally, someone from the philippines
used to have one and didn't last a week for doing smash drills during training.

As a fellow filipino, I agree that even some varisty players here in the philippines uses alp sport rackets
@MJL-2003 Yeah but most of the ones i met they use apacs or yonex tour/game rackets
I love how your are taking your badminton content to the next level!!!!😊
Have you considered doing a series? I have seen people with equipment purchased from Amazon, Decathlon, or the large multi-activity/sports stores.
I bought a racket from Temu and the string broke after the first hit 😆Keep up the good work CkYew!!
You hit too hard 😂😂💪🏻💪🏻

I would love to see this as a series. And btw I have those alp sport rackets. Good enough for entry level similar to apacs

Nice. I waited about video like this. Nice one CK local fav badminton channel

Man the shuttles are just rough, not even beginners worthy unless you wanna confuse them.
Yep 🥶🥶😬😬 cannot recommend those at all 🤌

The shuttles in the video were 🥶🥶🥶 not ok.
Some of the other stuff were more acceptable
So they don't take the feathers from ducks and geese that have already been killed for use as food? 😱
Google Peking duck, you can see lots of travel loggers eat this famous dishes in Beijing

Guys I have a doubt. Is exbolt 68 durable than bg65
the price is insanely high
The shuttles 😂 I bought something even worse from Walmart for $14 CAD
How the hell does this guy always change his house location???
thruster f ultra review ck?
The plastic shuttles are unacceptable... 2 colours can't be a selling point 😂
It can be if it’s £1 and they’re delivered for free 😂😂
best shoes at 60 dollars please
im done with Temu and other online shops.. i'd rather go to decathlon.
So basically everything was crap but cheap. 😂
That’s crazy
🤮 Selling out, but fair enough for trying.
How else do I fund my racket purchase obsession 😂😂😂😂
