- We finally made it cold & frigid Norway to check off the Arctic Ocean & surf my 7th sea in 7 days! Massive thanks to @RedBullSurfing for making the journey of a lifetime a true reality. 7 Seas in 7 Days started as one thing & has become something completely different. I ain’t gonna lie - I cried watching the end of this. Ben is one my favorite surfers in the world. I know some of his story - he is such a powerful inspiration on so many levels. I've been following your vlog now for close to 10 years. From the old jeep days of thr beginning of your 50 state journey, to your near death experience in the river, to all the El Slamo and novelty wae sessions and wave pools in between, to the Alaska glaciers and big wave tow ins, to this peeler in Norway, and I just want to say thank you...
Your motto, 'for the dream", is more accurate than you realize. I grew up a surfer from Staten Island NY, displaced some years to San Diego, bouncing between Rockaway and Swamis. But my dream back in high school was to find the novelties, in waters colsld and warm, in far off secret places where past and present come together.
After high school I realized that my destiny was to join my People in our small country in the Middle East and help repair the world from here. I'm now a paramedic with a family, and am active in my second war of light vs. darkness in these last 10 years. And despite the blessings in my life, surf sessions are few and in between...
However, thanks to you and your dedication to vlogging "the dream", I've been able to enjoy the waves and and novelties and the missions through you. Despite what I've gone through so far this war, both on the individual level as well as part my national collective, tuning in today to your 7 seas mission, accomplished in such a surreal way in that far corner of God's earth, was truly epic and genuinely made me smile.... thank you....

PS: novelty wave challenge. If you could find a surfable wave in my home town of Staten Island, it would be the ultimate novelty and I'd love to see it.

The stoke from you catching that first wave to complete this mission was palpable. In the game of life, the most precious thing we can collect are memories. You made more memories in a week than most people make in a lifetime. And what a spectacular break and scene to cross that finish line.
p.s. Those backside rail grabs on a reeling wave are about as fun as it gets. As my life candle wanes, mine are only memories for me; but very sweet ones. 🤙

Ben , check this out , I surfed solid 4 foot oceanside at 5:30 dawn patrol with a buddy that was scheduled to work on the east coast with me . We got sick barrels and drove luggage in truck to San Diego and caught a flight to Atlanta direct flight Landed, rented a SUV , broke a few speed limits on the drive to Jacksonville Florida. Got there in Record time and hurricane was just ending . We rented boards , paddled out to a nice sunset. There’s these little kinda rock jetties that shoot out about 100 yards apart , I saw it from space , paddled out and got barreled 5 or 6 times ! Barreled on the west coast and barreled on the east coast , same day ! Living the dream brother , jet lag has no place for those who want to make a clam 🤙🏽🫵🏼🏆

Had the absolute Honor of meeting and occupying a booth right across from this fine Human at Scott Bass's Board Room Show in San Diego a few weeks back. Although we were so busy that we could never just hang out it was great to see his cool surfboards and watch him interact with legions of fans. Good on ya Mate!

Must have set a camera outside overnight to record. When I flew to Germany when I was younger you fly up and over Iceland and back down and was able to see it in the sky on the plane. Extraordinary
