That's a good looking bed it's gonna be interesting to see how you bolt it down, love the walnut, it always brings up the class of a truck

For my bed installation on my 37 chevy pickup, I used the longer rear blocks, but for the front and center cross members I welded square tubing (approx 2" square tubing, or at least 3 sides of it) cut to the same dimensions of the smaller wooden blocks and drilled for shorter bolts in the same location as on the wooden blocks, That alleviates the concern of my boxed frame.

That is what I was thinking, weld it to the frame and send the bolt through it.
