It’s really refreshing to see a medical drama with such a focus on psychiatric medicine. I’ve been deeply interested in that field for years and always thought it would make an excellent topic for a tv show, glad I found this one 👍

Anyone else find it funny that Doctor Charles is always saying "a little help here"? A woman just collapsed I think you need more than a little bit of help
i think he may not want to alert the other patients and visitors unnecessarily by shouting help. Adding ‘little’ male the statement less scary than it might be.

My granddad had a very, very slow battle with dementia. It took him literally years to forget us, one by one, and my grandma was the last to go. 63 years of marriage, just gone. But even though he couldn't remember her, he knew this person was caring for him, smiling at him, being kind... His face would light up every time he saw her, and I think that might be the only way she held on. There is literally nothing worse than being forgotten, and I feel so sorry for the husband in this episode.
That's something that I am afraid to develop as I get older, either a tumor or alzheimers so I won't remember anyone in my family or my friends. But who knows maybe I'm one of those people that will get it when I least expect it.
I'm so glad this is the case of UI, not some crazy lady who wants to hurt her husband by playing confused thinking he's an intruder.

This situation happens alot with dementia or Alzheimers . Doesn't make them crazy, just sick.

@@bananacathammock it's heartbreaking to watch, my husband grandmother had this for Years. Couldn't recognize or remember anything by the end. She past 2 years ago, but my mil and her sisters would visit every week, it was so hard for them.

Plot twist, it's actually not her husband but his evil twin who killed her husband, taken his place and has her on meds to forget. The tumor is making her remember.

No her brain would still not register. Either shes sees the face or the photo wrong.
Because that's not how delusions work, you can't logic your way out of a mental health problem.
Like Adylaa says, her brain just will not recognise the face at all, to her it's a blur of every average guy face out there, there have been real world cases where you ask the patient to describe what their spouse looks like and their description will change drastically every time as the mental depiction they have blurs and changes from the psychosis.
