Hi Doug, can this be used without the donor number, Just a drop down list of names? Currently we hand write each category, Check#, Name, amount etc. Thanks
Nice, but it is cumbersome to have to look up a donor number for every entry for those who don’t use envelopes (and we haven’t memorized them). Including an auto fill with drop down list in the donor name column would be make the process simpler.
Yes, I agree with you. I provided a menu option to print your donor list. At our church, we posted this list on the wall where we count the donations so we can lookup the donor's number. I really like Excel, but there are a few things that Google Sheets does better than Excel and one of them is the searchable drop-down list. I know Microsoft has the ability to provide this tool and am confused why they have not made this part of Excel.

Hi. You will need to assign a donor number. I am just now finishing up a newer version that does the lookup by name. Please send me you email address.
