    Hi Heather & Cecil. That dozer has more than paid for itself. the last few shots of you talking to camera reviled the amount of grading that you had done, IE. away from the house. That clay will just hold water and ice and snow . You will see a big difference this Winter with how the land drains away from the house. Your doing it right by grading the land away from your property, especially when you have a basement. Keep safe and enjoy your life. :-))

    Hi Cecil and Heather!!😀😀
    Fall is definitely in full swing by you guys.
    It looked like the clay was a little softer now than it was the last time you were peeling it.
    One blade full at a time and one day it will be finished!!😀😀
    Looking good so far!!
    Keeping the water away from the basement is a definite priority.
    Hopefully the old 450 keep holding together till you are finished.
    Take care my friends and don't work too hard!!😀😀👍👍❤❤

      Hello Al. Yes winter is on it's way for sure. I waited till we had a few rainy days in hopes it would soften up the dried clay a little...it seemed to work, I also took a grinder to the blades cutter's edge. Yeah every little bit gets us closer to draining the water away from the house. I am hoping the old 450 keeps going for a few more years ;-) Thanks again. You take care and don't over do it either. ttyl....Cheers.

    Another good day with the 450. This change in grade should really help with the water and mud around the house. Opening the area up for more sunlight will help the area dry so you can utilize it more of the year. Always (since I was a kid) liked to watched tractors and large equipment at work. Never had the opportunity to run any. A few famous folks have expressed their satisfaction around running a bull dozer. AJ Foyt as an example.
    So, you're saying there is no value in your area for those poplar trees ??? Like one of your other commenters said, buying that material certainly is NOT CHEAP !!!

    • @SkinnersOffGrid
      @SkinnersOffGrid 3 роки тому

      Hello George. No I have never had a problem with air, I've had the system open a few times and never a problem, Is your pump turning? Lines mixed up? filter plugged? might be something simple... Try to disconnect your loader cylinders and see if they work at all... even a weak pump should push out the rams unpinned to the loader, if not you have something else going on. Best of luck, let me know what you find out. Cheers.
