Your video has blessed me. I’ve never played lead on this song but I’m about to for the first time ever during our response. Live in front of the congregation. It wasn’t supposed to be me , but I’ve been thrown into the fire. This is my moment. And I’m going to own because of this video.
Chris Donovan how'd it go?
Pls continue to bless us through Christ Jesus!
Beautiful Thankyou so much
I'm glad I'm not the only one that head tilts 5:02
Hello, what is the tempo and note subdivision on your delay effect? Thanks!
Thanks for sharing. Obviously we are in Bb. Care to pass on your Delay and reverb settings?
sounds dotted 8th with washy 60% verb to me?
I have to have this and another song by them memorized in two days, and this camera angle really is bad, please fix, I and others would be so happy.
Whats the tuning?
Would be nice to have a more direct view of the fretboard. This angle isn't conducive to the nuances . . .
If you're going to call this a tutorial, why don't you actually make it to where you can see what the guy is playing! If I wanted to learn this by ear, I wouldn't have looked up this video.
I would say its more of in intermediate tutorial. For most experienced players that just want to learn the songs faster with the limited time they have before having to play, this is good enough. I mostly just need to be able to hear the parts clearly and get a general idea of the shapes.
I actually prefer this because it saves time instead of giving slow step by step.
I could definitely see someone a little newer would have more difficulty, but I wouldnt say this is learning by ear. But to your point, maybe it would be better labeled as a “play-through” instead of tutorial.
