As a European i might give some insight on this: Smoking pure weed doesn't give you that "grab"' in your throat like it does when you mix it with tobacco, i think most people here enjoy that feeling. Weed isn't legal here, its easy to get but you always run the risk of going to jail etc so we want to make the bag last. Putting in 100% weed or 70%weed/30% tobacco won't make you any higher so might aswell save some. Also, a blunt contains the equivalent amount of tobacco like a cigarette does, but most guys here only put in 2/5th of the cigarette to roll their joint, so actually Snoop is smoking more tobacco with his weed than we are :D
It reduces coughing and the main reason is to smooth out the burn. Bud is a not fully dried plant so it doesn't burn well by itself so we europeans add 10-15 % tobacco which is much drier than weed and keep the burn steady. 2 simple reasons -> less coughing and spliff not going out every 30 sec.
U have to take into consideration that some people smoke cigarettes and weed too. So it makes sense to mix the too and save a bit of money in the process.

In the 90's-00's Hash was about the only thing you could buy because it was the easiest thing to smuggle in from Amsterdam. So you would have to mix it with tobacco to roll a joint. You would rarely get bud and it would be compressed into cubes to maximise space and never smelled like modern weed (they were trying to not get caught by customs and the smell is a bit of a giveaway). The bud revolution happened in the mid 00's. It's also a cost thing. Snoop and Rogan don't have to worry about the cost these days. Most people cant afford to spend, say £200 a week on bud. But I dare say if they had the money they would.

I always would get really bad highs (head rushes) when using tobacco and weed. Growing up everyone at school would say that’s how it’s done. It wasn’t until university that I started smoking blunts and that’s when I realised how great weed is when smoked raw 💨
Theres 2 main reasons. Most people start smoking cigarettes before they get introduced to weed and most people don't wanna spend tons of money of weed. You can easily roll 2-3 joints from a gram and you'll be high for the rest of your night after you get off work.

The quality wasn't all that good, but nobody knew any better. So when the heavy hydroponic stuff came along and became the norm (mid 2000's onwards) it was up to 10x stronger. People in Europe (predominantly UK) also enjoy it for the ceremony of rolling a 3 skinner!

In sweden hash is more accesable than weed. Stockholm will run you 10 dollars per gram but outside of that area could be 13-15 dollars a gram of weed or hash. Many potheads dont think its doable financialy to buy weed when its the same price and hash would last you 2 or 3 times as long as a bag pf green. I also prefer to smoke clean but that would mean two joints, maybe three. Once we bought a 5 and we were 6 people on that 5 and made one joint. We each got like 2 3 hits. Just aint worth it in the long run. If you buy hash tho, mixing it with tobacco and that 5 could last you two weeks if you are alone on that bag. Simple. In the 90's-00's Hash was about the only thing you could buy because it was the easiest thing to smuggle in from Amsterdam. So you would have to mix it with tobacco to roll a joint.
You would rarely get bud and it would be compressed into cubes to maximise space and never smelled like modern weed (they were trying to not get caught by customs and the smell is a bit of a giveaway).
The bud revolution happened in the mid 00's.
It's also a cost thing. Snoop and Rogan don't have to worry about the cost these days.

I did a mini experiment to see if nicotine and marijuana would be better or without nicotine twice and with nicotine it was much better, although rougher on the throat due to the unfiltered smoke. With Marlboro Red and with Marlboro gold the red was better. Another thing, The point still stands, The USA is just one of few countries where there isn't legal persecution over use of marijuana, which would mean for others who aren't so lucky to live in countries that got with the time that Marijuana is much more expensive and sold in lesser quantities and of lesser quality.

I always would get really bad highs (head rushes) when using tobacco and weed. Growing up everyone at school would say that’s how it’s done. It wasn’t until university that I started smoking blunts and that’s when I realised how great weed is when smoked raw 💨
In Europe Weed is often harder to get so we have to stretch it out with tobacco, especially if you ain't got money
Theres 2 main reasons. Most people start smoking cigarettes before they get introduced to weed and most people don't wanna spend tons of money of weed. You can easily roll 2-3 joints from a gram and you'll be high for the rest of your night after you get off work.

People in Europe (predominantly UK) also enjoy it for the ceremony of rolling a 3 skinner!

Unfiltered cigarette tobacco hits A LOT harder than a blunt. I've tried them both.
In sweden hash is more accesable than weed. Stockholm will run you 10 dollars per gram but outside of that area could be 13-15 dollars a gram of weed or hash. Many potheads dont think its doable financialy to buy weed when its the same price and hash would last you 2 or 3 times as long as a bag pf green. I also prefer to smoke clean but that would mean two joints, maybe three. Once we bought a 5 and we were 6 people on that 5 and made one joint. We each got like 2 3 hits. Just aint worth it in the long run. If you buy hash tho, mixing it with tobacco and that 5 could last you two weeks if you are alone on that bag. Simple. The few times ive smoked weed tho i smoked it clean and it is just so much better

Then if you do end up buying them they are a pain in the butt to roll Bc no two hemp wraps are the same so they all roll different and smoke super fast. There is my essay why hemp wraps are shit💀
