Thankyou very much Secrets of a Chef. I loved visiting a place like this where the animals are so well looked after. I could have watched the Orang-utans all day . Lol
Hey thankyou so much for your really kind words. Some of these videos do take a lot of time to put together and I really appreciate your comments. Thanks for watching
I'm originally from Singapore (Rachael here), so this is a great surprise! :) I do love our zoo and have many fond memories of it - involving chocolate milk and egg salad sandwiches by mom. :) Just subbed too. Keep them coming!
Hey Rachael , thanks for watching and subscribing! it's a very special zoo. I really love seeing the Orang-utans, who are one of my favourite animals, have the freedom to move around the place as they aren't trapped in enclosures like most zoos. The River Safari next door is also extraordinary. I really loved seeing the Red Pandas up close. They are always on the move and I was captivated for ages ! I've got a couple of other SG videos in the works that I plan to get out in the next month or so. look after yourselves and I look fwd to seeing more of your adventures in your great city.
@@AdventureTimMedia Thanks so much, Tim! I can't wait to watch them. It makes me wanna go back to visit, hopefully, soon! And yes, we'll keep our videos coming as well. Thanks again for subbing and stay tuned! :) Cheers from Amsterdam.
such a cool city. I only lived there for 7 weeks last year and by the end I started to feel like a bit of a local - i loved the MRT and all the amazing hawker markets. hopefully I'll get back soon thx for watching
hey mate . sorry to hear that . SG weather can be like that. did u get to experience any of the animals? the river safari next door has some undercover areas that probably would have been better on a rainy day . thanks for your comment
@@AdventureTimMedia Yes I covered half the park in the morning. I spent a lot of time sitting around in the afternoon. I sat at the sheltered area to see the ballerina hippos, then sat in the Australisia and managed to see the kangaroos via the glass. In the end I just walked in the rain with my umbrella to see the rest of the park as much as I could. The baboons were an interesting sight as most of them were seeking shelters under crevices too. I didn't get to see the White Tiger that day as the zoo has a rotational schedule between the white and the Malayan Tiger. So I saw the standard tiger. I still managed to catch the three shows available. One was cancelled due to the rain but I managed to catch the next slot before the rain started again.
hey it sounds like you saw most of the park on your visit anyway. I loved the ballerina hippos . they were a lot of fun. at least with the rain there wouldn't have been too many ppl too. I had to sit way up the back to see the shows . I loved the bird one . that was epic . thx again for watching. take care
@@AdventureTimMedia The lioness was staring at me, probaby thinking who was this crazy human standing in the rain looking at her. I was the only person. I sped through the tortoise area as it was closing time 6 pm I missed the air con reptile area as they locked it up at 6 pm. I missed the Gorilla. Not sure if there is one there. The leopard was stealthy. Took a glance and she disappeared. I think it is worth to get the annual pass. But the zoo is really far away from my home
Ok. I did it about 15 years ago and it x was pretty good . Maybe next time I'm in Singapore. I actually enjoyed the River Safari almost as much as the zoo . Have u been there?
Haha. We don't have them in Australia so I loved watching them at the zoo. I did see even bigger ones st the river safari next door that were equally amazing. Thanks for watching
Nice Tim 👍
