The Bird Park is now known as The Bird Paradise and it is open. It is beautiful! I spent half a day there to take photos of free flying birds. Hardly any cages. Only giant net above to prevent the birds from escaping.
There’s only one problem there is so much static If you touch the rail and touch someone the static is insane I don’t know if they have fixed it or not I went there like 2 months ago
Hi Chris. The Singapore Zoo is for sure one of the best zoos in the world. It's amazing that you can get so close to some of the animals with being behind glass. This is a must visit place in Singapore. To me it's worth it to have a chance to explore so many area with many things to do.I wouldn't mind doing the sleep over in the zoo. I think it might be a very interesting experience. Thanks again for sharing and take care.
Thanks Chris for highlighting the Singapore Zoo which I think it's one of the nicest and biggest in the world and also one of the major attractions in Singapore. Unfortunately it has not been often featured by many UA-camrs as compared to Changi Airport or Marina Bay Sands and the Flower Dome. Am glad that through you, viewers get to have a comprehensive review of what Singapore Zoo has to offer. Well done!
Thank you Chris, your videos are so comprehensive. My husband and I are going to Singapore in March (we're in Australia), so your videos on Singapore have been really handy to watch.
Can we do bird paradise, river wonders and night safari in one day ( how much time it takes to cover one park ) as we have booked river wonders and night safari (7:45 slot) so wondering if we can cover bird paradise if we reached early morning
Thank you for this Chris! Always love your videos, so informative! Do the tickets every sell out? Can I buy tickets a day before or how early ahead do you recommend?
u can scan the QR code which are avail near the entrance area, this will lead u to the website where u can purchase the ticket on the spot. Its an e-ticket
Did you happen to skip the penguin and old polar bear exhibit? I havent been there in a long time but when i went for excursion like maybe 8 years ago i vividly remember there being one. And i think the polar bear exhibit is like a playground or something since inuka was put down
Very cool. I live in Omaha, home to the #1 US zoo. Many of then habitats look like ours but we definitely can’t get as close to the animals and we don’t have pandas😢
1. If you're going to the zoo parks. Set aside a day at least. 2. Go to the largest park, the main Singapore Zoo. That park is big and will take some time. 3. You can skip river wonders, it's basically a walk through museum of fishes where you walk along a corridor route with one fish tanks after another. 4. You can skip the night Safari, it's a smaller park, if you still want to experience it, go for the shows and take a round trip on the tram since it only opens a few hours from 8 till midnight, you can get it done in less than 2 hours. 5. Bird Paradise is very new, it use to be a separate park on the west side of Singapore called Jurong Bird Park but they have migrated all of the animals to this newly built park. it's quite a big place, lots of walking. Probably will take a day to explore it too. 6. If you have a full day, either split bird Paradise and Singapore Zoo during the day and finish it with the Night Safari. Or just choose one of the large parks, end it with night Safari.
@YellowProductions hey Chris I shared your video with my son Sunny on Whistler village. He just wanted to go for long ride in his new Honda civic in Vancouver. Sure it was a most informative video for him. Thanks Chris. Much love. ❤️ 🙌
@jayzee2564 I was a young boy when I went on a school trip to Singapore zoo excited to see the many wonderful animals, but as I was in front of a orange utan performing to only a few people what I saw shocked me for my whole life. I'm not sure if it was Ah Meng the orang utan but she was not performing to expectation that moment so her attendant, who was a fat middle aged Indian man gave her a few hard punches on the stomach. It was strong punches which left the poor primate gasping for air. That was around 1979 I wonder if the Singapore zoo still have such staff that abuse animals this way?

Can we do bird paradise, river wonders and night safari in one day ( how much time it takes to cover one park ) as we have booked river wonders and night safari (7:45 slot) so wondering if we can cover bird paradise if we reached early morning
Yeah I think you can. River Wonders is like a 2-3 hour visit max.. so plenty of time for Bird Paradise in the morning
Thank you for this Chris! Always love your videos, so informative! Do the tickets every sell out? Can I buy tickets a day before or how early ahead do you recommend?
No. I don't think they sell out.. so you can buy them the same day. Though you do need to buy them online
u can scan the QR code which are avail near the entrance area, this will lead u to the website where u can purchase the ticket on the spot. Its an e-ticket
@@quekvincent5981 thanks!
I'm reading online where the bird park opened in May of 2023. I think you may have recorded this video before that date.
Yeah. Recorded this video in April when I was in Singapore.. had lots of video to edit 😀
Looks amazing! Can you pay by card in the taxi? or cash only?
Yes. Taxis take card payment
@@YellowProductions Thanks!
Hi Chris, how did you find Singapore in general? Was it easy to get around 🤔.
Great! And yes.. easy to get around. If you haven't seen it yet check out my full 5 day vlog: ua-cam.com/video/a6-Mvw-EuHQ/v-deo.html
I’m going tomorrow and this is the best advice for first time ❤❤❤
5:00 look at the background (a kid is waving)
Zoo looks amazing.
Omg that zookeeper holding hands with two orangutans is hilarious
i like how the singapore zoo animals behave and never get out of their area the zoo train them very well
have u tried chennai, indian, Vandaloor zoo
Did you happen to skip the penguin and old polar bear exhibit? I havent been there in a long time but when i went for excursion like maybe 8 years ago i vividly remember there being one. And i think the polar bear exhibit is like a playground or something since inuka was put down
The penguin is pretty small cause most of them are under the Bird Paradise, Polar bear exhibit is long gone sadly.
If you love nature and animals, it's not to be missed.
Very cool. I live in Omaha, home to the #1 US zoo. Many of then habitats look like ours but we definitely can’t get as close to the animals and we don’t have pandas😢
I'll have to check out the Omaha zoo next time I'm there!
inuka was apolar bear that passed away in singapore zo. i think it was born in singapore if im not wrong
Very interesting zoo, thank you for your video
Glad you enjoyed it 😀
dang that's really different from any zoos I've been to! free roaming animals wow
Singapore 🔛🔝
I'm here in Singapore for 7 years I never been there haha sending support
I live in Nepal and I came to Singapore to study and live there
I went to that zoo before.
No offence, Chris, but you seem to be confusing lemurs with monkeys. They are primates, but not monkeys. Great zoo and great tour.
Thanks for the correction 😀
I'm only going to have 4 full days in Singapore but I don't know which park to go to! Such a plight 😂

Interesting place. Missing little princess.
👸
Aww. She was in Taiwan when I was in Singapore 😀
@YellowProductions hey Chris I shared your video with my son Sunny on Whistler village. He just wanted to go for long ride in his new Honda civic in Vancouver. Sure it was a most informative video for him. Thanks Chris. Much love. ❤️ 🙌
now all of the different type of zoos in singapore are combined with each other
6:30 I also have no clue what he's saying there...
He says the hog badger is from Cambodia
Anyone who has been there recently, is that polar bear enclosure that has a window at the zoo and the river park still there?
No ikura the polar bear was the last polar bear.
There are ticket terminals at the zoo. So the info that you must buy tickets online is incorrect. I went to the Zoo in April 2024.
Thanks for the correction! I must have overlooked them.. i also was there close to COVID reopening so they might have disappeared for awhile
Don't forget, there is a really nifty app for the zoos to make reservations and scheduling
Thanks for the tip!
I've never been there, and I want to go there
Excellent Peacock in the Restaurant
The fact the kid wave at the camera 4:56
I came here and saw a sloth where you are and a cute baby slouth

I took my son to Singapore when he was 5, maybe we should go again. Children loves Singapore.
Definitely a very kid friendly place!
Looks an amazing zoo but a bit hot. Don’t like Butterflies so would not go into the butterfly enclosure😊
Hot indeed!
I WENT HERE ON 17 MAY

Ah Meng is a her… She is the grand old dame of Singapore Zoo until she passed on in 2008…
If you want to see the male elephant, he is in the Night Safari..
Angsty big fella..hahha..
At the show the staff had a philipnines accent
