To be honest with ya, I have a high top with dreads and when I locd my hair I got short extensions with it. I believe the extensions made my hair grow faster within a year I took the extensions out. The extensions looked way more real than the ones he has in though

What’s your take on deadlocking extensions on existing dreadlock on the roots instead of attaching it by the end?
So you added extensions to extensions? And also how long should you keep your dread extension before taking them out ? Another point is do the extensions eventually lock into your loc ?

I think he did a great job. The only error was ordering locs made of straight hair instead of the same natural or similar hair texture of the client.
Had it been the same hair texture of the client, the hair color wont matter coz he obviously knows what he is doing. 👍🏽👌🏾

For the most part I agree however it's not necessarily the texture of the hair whether it's straight or afro hair it's more the method that was used to make the loc extensions that make the extensions with his hair look off. I'm a professional dreadlock extension maker and stylist(consider myself a loctician) I also make my own loc extensions, if those straight hair loc extensions were tightly crocheted and properly crocheted into his hair with some more matching color then you wouldn't be able to tell a significant difference at all in the video Even when looking up closely it would be hard to tell. Like I said I agree if you're going to use permanent dreadlock extensions always try to use the same textured hair. For example I would never use straight hair extensions on Afro type hair but I would use afro hair extensions on straight type hair, as long as the color of the hair and the extensions are the exact same I can twist and crochet them in a way to where they blend seamlessly and it's pretty hard to tell which part of the hair is afro and which part is straight. It's much easier to make afro hair look the same as crocheted straight hair dreadlock extensions than it is to make straight hair look like crocheted afro dreadlock extensions if that makes any sense to you. I mainly love working with extensions so I know a ton about them in that area of dreadlocks specifically.
Also not trying to knock Gunther but he did a terrible job with attaching these extensions. I've been following him for almost 4 years and every single one of his extension videos are not that great it's definitely not his specialty but he definitely knows what he's talking about when it comes to all sorts of methods to starting dreadlocks.
I'm just saying this because it irritates me when people put out false information and Gunther is giving people advice that's not entirely the best

Guys I’m having trouble getting rid of dandruff and I do all the steps I used a.c. Vinegar and it didn’t work I wash my hair I don’t know what to do now
There is not much to do. Just keep your scalp Moisturized and that will reduce the dandruff but other then that it’s a permanent thing. Even if you don’t have locs you will still have dandruff. Just learn to love and expect it. It’s what makes you, you.
