You just saved my life with these bro, I've been so bummed out lately cause idk whats going to become of my dreads, I haven't had any maintenance done on them in almost a year and I have a bunch of congos and thin ones its lookin like I'm going to have to cut them all off and leave a considerate length to comb out for the extensions to grab onto and these are exactly what I'm looking for hopefully this whole plan works
The pink and yellow hook is a latch hook not crochet needle. The synthetic ones are latch hook ready that's what the 'circle' end is for...latching them in.

While I was in beauty school I spent all my time learning and practicing crocheted dreadlocks, and I’ve always wanted dreads myself but I never had the moula to get it done 😂 but I swear, now that I’ve graduated and have a more consistent job, this year is going to be the year I do it. I’m gonna go all out, straight for the Permanent and do a whole look based on the colors that flatter the most (brown, emerald and pastel) And I’m getting all the cute Jesus beads!
Years ago a company called Dreadheadhq had a customized needle called the locdoctor that had a handle like that . It was the best maintenance tool ever .
Maybe very late but, you can also order natural kinky dreadlocks he just literally randomly got send one Kind of an dreadlock (straight wavy) type of dreadlock so obviously you wouldnt install dreadlocks which do Not match your type of hair
Only if you’re not Caucasian. I’m not sure about it though. I’m a white girl learning about which type dread I prefer to buy. I found a place that has synthetic dreads that look great on any hair type or skin color imo. Yet I am curious about real hair. Just a little bit uncomfortable with real hair as I’m not sure how long they last and if they last a long time.

Just buy kinky bulk hair the ends will be wazy if your hair is from 3c-4b then that is natural
