- One of my favorite backs to hate. As a Titans fan I had to watch this man tear my team up year after year. But any fan had to love watching Arian play. His cut backs and dead legs are a thing of beauty. Foster's story is amazing and I loved following his career. I'm glad he's been out of the afc south for a few years and hopefully the Texans never get another runner like him any time soon! Hopefully some people enjoy this video and thanks for watching!
One of the Greatest to ever play the game of football an absolute legend!!! It’s just unbelievable how good this man really was !!!
Unreal how good this guy was… Unfortunate that his career wasn’t long enough. One of the most underrated runners ever.
Running backs just don’t play long
@@charleynewman5758 yeah true, but foster was plagued with injuries
Not sure which sports outlet I heard it from, but they hinted at his vegan diet that hurt him. Body needs saturated fat, contrary to the falsely pushed message of polyunsaturated fat.
That could be true. Diet is very important. You would think a man in that profession would know what’s best to eat but, yeah, injuries took their toll.
This is the most underrated underappreciated running back in NFL history.
Uhhhhh No…..The player that your talking about is Fred Taylor
He should be in the hall of fame. What he did for Houston was incredible
Y’all be dickriding bro was a mid running back
Couldn’t be more grateful to you for this, he’s the most beautiful running back I’ve ever seen run, too much grace and vision and elusiveness, it was poetry. My fav running back ever pains me that he doesn’t get talked about enough as one of the best ever there’s nothing he lacked. Thanks again 🙏🏽
No problem. I’m glad you enjoyed it. I agree. I don’t think Arian is talked about enough but I think he has some shortened seasons and the Achilles to end his career and people get hung up on those things.
Agree... There was definitely something different about his running style.
There is a reason he is undrafted because he is slow
Barry sanders is the goat still
He lacked top end speed. But that lets you know that speed isn’t everything because that was the last thing he needed. & speed has no benefits if you don’t have the vision, the patience, the elusiveness or the instincts required to be a great running back. You have to have the patience to allow the blocking scheme to develop which gives you alleys to explode through & to bounce it outside if need be. If you don’t know when to cut & to be decisive when you do, there will be no long runs to even use your speed. Because you aren’t getting out of the backfield. This guy ran a 4.68 40 yard dash. So basically a 4.7. That’s inside linebacker Defensive End speed. But was always busting long ass runs, breaking ankles, hurdling guys & breaking tackles. & he was quicker than most backs. That’s more important than flat out straight line speed also. Running backs have to stop, start, cut, spin, duck, jump, dodge etc. Everything other than being able to run fast in a straight line. Arian Foster is 1 of my favorite RB’s thst no one mentions. But he was particularly good. A unique rare talent at running back. He had physical gifts that most players wish they had. I don’t understand how he could go undrafted just from the eye test. Fuck the 40 yard dash. The question is does he run to daylight??? & I’ll say Absolutely!!!
Best RB in Texans history. Ty Arian!
Thank you Aaron Foster for all the great memories you were the best👍
He sure was fun to watch
Arian
Miss this man , so hard to find backs like him vision and patience in the back field .
"miss" is a stronger word than I (a titans fan) would use. haha.
This makes me miss that 2011 squad 😪
texans was elite
Texans all day, I miss this team and legends
Me too man 2010-2014 were the best 😮💨
Houstonian here, long time Texans and Oilers fan. So glad to have watch him played. As others have pointed out, he ability to find the holes and one cut made him special. He's also such a smooth runner. The best Texans RB ever. Additional note, he came in when the Texan's O-line was probably the best in Texans history. Schaub excelled behind that O-line too.
I hope Dameon Pierce plays to be this great for us. Watching Foster was a blast and it was fun to be a Texans fan.
Yes sir bullpen

Texans fan here, respect to you as a fan of rival team for making this tribute to the greatest running back in the Texans short history. The way you felt about Arian is how I currently feel about Derrick Henry. You hate playing the guy but you love how amazing he is to watch
@J&C HZ audiomachine - shadowfall
@@htownborn92 definitely a teeny bit bitter sweet but honestly regardless of my fandom he was entertaining to watch. You just couldn’t deny the numbers arian was putting up. Thanks for stopping by! 👍
2WEI- Catapult
That clearly says “third” but I definitely read it as “second”. My bad. Third is audiomachine - sun and steel.
I’m not the first to say it but it’s true watching him run is like watching poetry being written! He runs with with so much balance and awareness! Truly incredible
Forever Grateful Arian.
Hopefully one day soon, The Houston Texans can find and keep a runner that brings joy to our town like you did so many times. Bless you.
I watch a LOT of football highlights and have seen nearly every channel. This was one of the best edited highlight videos I have ever seen. I can tell you put a ton of work into these and it shows. If you make one for LeSean Mccoy, I think I'd die.
I really do appreciate comments like this. I get burned out because I do spend hours and hours on these. Comments like this make it worth it though. And let me tell ya…. Shady?…. He’s high on my list. There are a couple other projects I want to finish first but I would love to work on shady soon.
Terrell Davis is better than foster
Back when the Texans actually had a rushing attack, good times man thank you.
I can never forget his touchdown celebration. Always thought it was cool.
I always thought the bow was elegant and respectful to the opposition and his team.
During the rough St. Louis years this guy was able to bring joy to me via football. I'll always be a fan of Arian Foster!
I forgot how blessed we were in Houston to watch him every Sunday for so many awesome years. Somehow he combined excellent vision, hands and cuts with graceful strides and serious speed at 225+ pounds.
Awesome editing and video Remigo! Arian was indeed a special back to watch. That jump cut against Troy Polamolu is easily the one play I think about when I think of Arian. Amazing!
I remember training with one of his former strength and conditioning coaches from the university of Tennessee. He had nothing but negative things to say about his work ethic.
I always looked at him differently though. The man showed up and showed out when his number was called. That’s really all you can ask of a pro, to show up and be ready to go and be consistently good at your assignment.
Hey I appreciate the compliment. I put a lot of time into the video so I’m glad some people can enjoy it. Arian was such a problem and I hated watching him do whatever he wanted against the titans.
It was fun to watch his vision. After the play you could see how he processed things and just think “man how did he see that lane coming open”. Fun fun player to watch.
@@remigiokennedy8259 excellent video
I grew up watching Foster🥲 one of the main reasons I grew up a Texans fan. The rookie Dameon Pierce looking good tho.
Thx for the memories in Houston Foster💯
Namaste Arian...gives me goose bumps watching him run. Reminds me of Earl...and now maybe with Pierce, we can have a great running back again. Watching a runner do what he did was like watching poetry in motion.
The fact that we had Foster, AJ80 and Hop on the same offense and still couldn’t make it to the AFC championship with prime JJ Watt, Cushing and I think Dunta Robinson anchoring a top defense in the league is kinda absurd 😅… I know they wasn’t all in their prime but I mean damn that’s alotta talent. If Deshaun had half of that any of his seasons here, we’d be a top dog in the AFC as a whole every year frfr and even won a ring or two.
That offense really was loaded. And I’ll give shaub some credit too. Dude was ballin for a few years there.
The QB we had was too scared to launch it
I will say if Shaub didn’t get injured when we played the ravens we would’ve been in the super bowl or at least afc championship
All because we had no QB and foster got hurt it sounds like that team never existed but it did so much talent
@@remigiokennedy8259 Agree, the o-line was probably the best in Texans history.
It's was an absolute pleasure seeing this man play ball. The play he did on Troy, was crazy. I remember the season when Ben Tate and Foster were healthy. Tate had over 900 rushing yards and Foster had over a 1000. They were a two headed moster that season.
Please never delete this and if it ever gets taken down, please try and re-upload this again if you can. This is just so fuckin beautiful and an amazing job you did with this. Thanks for this fuckin good video. Foster was a gawd Damn beast and he’s one for sure player I will never forget. My favorite of all time. Namaste🙏🤘🔥🐐
Never seen a running back run so smooth in my lifetime. I remember getting lucky during his 3 best years to be positioned in my fantasy draft either in the one spot or two spot. I was lucky to have him lead my fantasy team. Miss having him on my fantasy football team. Those hammy's finally caught up to him tho which cut his career maybe two years shorter in my opinion.
Man was cold greatful I got to watch his whole career in the nfl
Huge fan of Arian. In 2012 my top two fantasy picks were Foster #1 and Marshawn Lynch #2 with Seattle’s Legion of Boom as my D. What an awesome FF season!
I miss him and this group of Texans. Credit Vontay Leach 44 alot for Arian's success. Foster was one of those RB that reminded me of Eric Dickerson.
Great highlights video, fantastic editing. Every audio clip was great and well inserted into the reel. Seriously, good video.
Arian Foster might be my all time favorite player. After just one preseason game before his rookie year I went right to my fantasy team and picked him up; he hadn't been drafted at all.
The play at the 12:00 mark of the video, against The Bengals, may be my favorite. First, he stiff-arms #42 to throw off his balance. #42 tries to turn around since he's facing the wrong way now. But, Foster intuitively grabs the back of #42's shoulder and completely prevents him from getting turned around for a tackle. Foster then stops pushing and pulls himself forward, by the jersey of #42, to regain speed.
Thank you for saying that. Hearing that people enjoy these really makes it worth it.
When the. Texans needed momentum that zone running scheme he never disappointed. He was a legend
His 1 step and go is CRAZY !! If he mastered the stop and go with his game… He would of been super crazy fr but I’ve never been a fan of him but always knew that he was a good RB !!
He could make a small crease in the line seam like a huge hole to run thru… plenty of speed too. Great running back!!
This was the best highlight edit I’ve seen hands down
Thank you. It was so fun to make. I appreciate the nice words. 👍
Great video and I agree, it was a blast to watch Arian work! This year however, watch out for Dameon Pierce as he looks like hes got some of the same sauce Arian did although I dont think it will be anytime soon that we see anyone with the one cut ability like Arian.
Greatest one cut back I’ve ever seen play
Super underrated running of all time bro was a monster couldn’t nobody fuq with him 🤘🏾🧙🏾♀️
my all time fav rb from 2010-15 he was a beast
Hidden gems… you gotta love em 💎
Foster was my fav Texan of all time!!!
I still got me Arian Foster Jersey till this day he the best running back we had im still upset him, johnson, and matt didn’t win a ring
This man is big time underrated asf 🤦🏾♂️
Great Video. Foster was a beast
12:01 dude got put into an absolute spin cycle
This is quite the highlight package
Wish he was still playing, Arian is my top nfl player regardless. That man had to do deal with alot on and off the field just to get to that point and he delivered when it was time to, one cut and he was gone 💯
Met him in houston once and he’s a really nice guy
Foster was so smooth was a great all around back
Best rb we ever had. Straight beast.
Cali in the building, Its Krazy some of the Best players be “undrafted“ 🤦🏾♂️ give them Hell💯💯 #23 Arian Foster thank you for the entertainment 🍻
I loved watching him and Fred Jackson play. They were both kinda underdogs when they got in the NFL and were both super talented.
He's so slept on I never hear anybody talk about him. I still have his jersey from middle school lol
I might just be high but this video was incredible. thanks so much man
High or not I'll take the compliment!🤣
Had he been just a tad faster, he would have been one of if not the best RB of all time
Man how I wish my texans could find a running back like foster for our rebuild enjoyed watching him play live
David Johnson….
We have dameon pierce
The smoothest runner of the football to watch.
Houston hasn't been able to get anyone close to him. It's been a few one hit wonders and journeyman running backs the last several years.
A good back is hard to come by now.
Dante Forman coulda been that dude but he got hurt
@centraltexanonb8598look at him now smfh. I want him to succeed but he’s looking a lot like Steve Slaton right now smfh. Small guy with great talent but injuries are taking him down. Foster had so many injuries as well but still delivered many memorable plays/games. Hopefully Pierce comes back healthy and better soon…
That man was awesome!!
The fact that he eluded men like Troy Polamalu, Ray Lewis and Ed Reed (at the same time in their prime) is just monstrous. To think this talent was almost wasted stuck in the practice squads just a year before he exploded. Phew!
Arian was the prototypical running back for the zone blocking scheme not to mention a dangerous receiver out of the backfield. Silky smooth. Just watch 8:44 .
Deepest bag for any running back EVER
He still one of the best running backs I ever seen
so i've officially watched every single videos you've posted and man! your channel is bomb af bro, keep up the amazing content fr! expand this channel bro bc trust me with this content your bound to hit a million subs and keep growing ❤️ i love the nostalgia, i love how it's a story and walks through getting drafted, i love how long every mix tape is. good work man and good luck... definitely earned a sub and post notifications over here!
Thank you for that comment. I really do appreciate it. I sometimes burn myself out and take too long to post my next video but comments like this get me excited to get back to work. Thanks for the motivation!
Even with all the super stars since and when this man played on the Texans they can't amount to the player he was 💯💯💯
He’ll be a tough player to match for any rb they have come in.
Best part about 10:08 is Jacoby Jones just made a 77 yard receiving td for the Texans record longest all time. Right before they went out for the next drive, Foster came up to jones and said “I’m about to break your record”, and did this on, I think, the next play. About 3 yards shorter than Jacoby, but still impressive
Jones had an 80 yard Touchdown on the first play of the game. Foster did 78 yards on that play and it wasn’t the very next play, it was already 6 minutes deep into the 2nd quarter
I definitely remember this dude's name and craft! Definitely. Coming back to actually truly recognize and appreciate all the shit he did
Man as electric as Aaron was in this montage I just kept seeing Dwayne Wade pancake pass rushers and D linemen. Wow
i’d say he needa be in the hall of fame
I miss him si much
6:20 insane sequence here. He totally abuses two Jets defenders including a prime Revis.
Poetry in motion ⛷️
The best running back in Houston Texans franchise
Hands down the greatest texans running back ever, ol dude from UT could have done it but he got hurt
Houston Texans would run a wedge blocking and it was Foster's job to find the hole. And he was good at it. I love watching him run 💯🤘
Favorite football player ever. Great vid. One question, what's the song right at the start of the video?
Thanks for this!!
No problem! Thank you for watching!
Best running back Texans have ever had besides Watson, miller I'm pushing for Aryan foster being added to NFL Hall of Fame along a.johnson.
Dream on get a grip
He came and went pretty quickly but when he was on his A game there wasn't anyone better.
Why was a part of your video cut out @ 9:01?? I remember seeing Foster have a huge play against the raiders there but now it’s gone?? Smh
copyright stuff..... I hate it. But I gotta do what I gotta do so they dont block the video.
@@remigiokennedy8259 wow smfh fuck UA-cam honestly smfh that was like one of my favorite parts of the video tbh
Amazing video
One of my fav players oat
Ariana foster was a bad man. I watched every game and he killed it and was a nightmare for other teams. GO TEXANS
appreci8 you Arian Foster
htown appreci8 you
bobby feeno
gr8 video appreci ya Remigio
The Texans prayed for a win, the opponent prayed for a win, Foster decided to make it happen himself
I wish his career was longer
8:37 my favorite play by Arian foster was making palomalu miss the tackle
Beast mode, slick
I remember when Houston was once a top rated team. Finishing our best season with foster 12-4 then loosing the playoffs to Tom Brady
Personally think the 2011 team was better. Unfortunately they had to finish the season with a 3rd string QB.
All I see is standard RB speed and hands plus huge holes my grandpa could run through. That O-line was outstanding. One could argue Foster's success was similar to Emmett Smith. O-line made them famous. Barry Sanders never had a good O-line
One could argue Smith and Sanders were 1st round picks and Foster was undrafted. Also the Texans have NEVER had an all star Oline, while they were good they were not the #1olines. Foster was known for his vision, Sanders for evasivness, Smith for balance.
13:22 goodness gracious that was clean
People never really think about Foster. He put up huge numbers, the only problem is his prime happened to be during Adrian Peterson's prime.
I do feel like he gets slept on a bit.
He was better then Adrian Peterson imo (HOF career by Arian; he's just outspoken which that voting committee don't like SMDH)
I fxcing love foster ❤
Arian was so freaking good. That’s my dawg
Awesome
GOAT
Shout out to Vont’a Leach…real Texans fans know what I’m talking about.
The greatest rb in Texans history, his Jersey should be retired. Along with 99 and 80
8:56 crazy speed after that hit
It was almost as if he was gliding across the field! He wasn't super fast what so ever.. But he just knew how to play the game!
