Hmmm, great question. The tobacco in Mythique is a sweeter & dry pipe tobacco. It’s not damp & doesn’t change throughout its life like Tabac Doré. The coffee is the big player in Mythique with tobacco being a supporting role. As Tabac Doré tobacco takes main stage and vanilla & Oud play more of the big supporting roles. I don’t think I prefer one over the other, but Tabac Doré is more versatile and can be worn in more situations.

All this time collecting and I've been avoiding blue frags for the most part... Damn it's nice tho! I got the edp but the Parfum is now oon my wanted list 😂👌🏻
Does it have even a slight similarity to Tobacco Vanille or Red Tobacco or Naxos? i.e. the usual and tired sweet-honey-vanilla-tobacco dna? Because I'm hoping it's not as I am looking for something where tobacco does not share the spotlight with anything sweet. Thanks.
Honestly it doesn’t smell like either Tobacco Vanille or Red Tobacco. It’s the most unique tobacco frags I’ve ever smelled. The vanilla up top adds a hint of booze & a slight sweetness. The tobacco is very damp & rich and very realistic. It changes throughout the the life of the fragrance. It has a slight sweetness from the benzoin. But it is resinous, woody, animalic, spicy, dark & rich. It’s so intriguing & unique. It’s got so many layers to it. Unlike any tobacco Frag I’ve ever smelled, in the best way!

It’s not. Red Tobacco is much more synthetically sweet tobacco. Though Red Tobacco is awesome, Tabac Doré is a super photorealistic tobacco and the Oud is very natural as are the other ingredients. Red tobacco is the beast and Tabac Doré is the beauty. Both are great fragrances but are worlds apart in natural ingredients. Hope that helps bud.

Nice review, but if you're going to be in the fragrance review game, it would behoove you to learn the most basic rules of French pronunciation. Doré (note the accent mark) = dor-AY, not like "door." Not the most important thing in the world, but if you make such an egregious pronunciation error right off the bat, it immediately makes me skeptical that you know much about fragrances, since so many of the terms in this realm are French.

It will definitely stain your clothes but will leave a slight tinge of color on skin but fades quite quickly.
