Wow that’s great I like all old stuff, radios, gramophones, cars, trucks, steam pumpers, steam boats, organs, classic is the best and before WW2 what they had till then it just never got any better!

I was wondering when they would do a UA-cam video of the organ...and here it is! Stahls is fantastic and I am a very frequent visitor to the museum as well as the weekly Cars and Coffee's in their parking lot where i display my car. Besides being a car nut I am also a theater organist. In addition the huge collection of self playing musical instruments is demonstated throughout your visit. The cars are all running cars....no neglected shells of a car....but gorgeous fully restored running examples. This is a fabulous way to spend a few hours. All the emploees and volunteers love to talk to you about all the history of the displays. I think you will find that Stahl's needs more than one visit to see everything they have....plus the cars are rotated in the display as they have many more than displayed at one time on the floor. This is truly another Michigan Gem.

The console is so unique, and I saw at least two stop tablets for 32' pedal voices - awesome!

What a fantastic sounding instrument and a very special one too. Mr W owned this one (Wurlitzer). It doesn't get much better than that. Beautiful sound and all the percussion.

There was. It’s been moved to the Oroville State Theatre, Oroville, CA.

The theatre organ is an English invention by Robert Hope-Jones who was hoodwinked by Wurlitzer.

Wasn’t this organ part of the Milhouse collection at one point before they auctioned everything away?

Why do some of the sound effects sound familiar to different UA-cam videos? Such as The Entertainer and Toy Box.

The clip of The Entertainer they used was from the video of Charlie Balogh playing it at Organ Stop Pizza.

I’ve seen these in peoples houses. I’ve seen these Wurlitzers completely trashed in abandoned theaters and in houses. So sad. In the UK. They embrace the Wurlitzer……Here. Ehhhh….

The UK has the highest concentration of theatre organs than any other country in the World. The trouble is, not many survive in their original installation locations and are still playing to the public. That's partly down to the cinemas being either split into multiple screens or have closed and been demolished, it's the same story everywhere.
Of the Wurlitzer organs in the UK still in their original homes and playing to the public, there are only two, Blackpool Tower Ballroom, and Blackpool Opera House. There are others, but they aren't played to the public, such as the Gaumont State Kilburn, Granada Tooting, and Granada Harrow. However, the buildings are still used and the organs may at some stage be used again, there's always hope!
