    My goodness,....that was a pretty quick engine shut down!!!

      Agreed. Either there's some sort of braking mechanism on the rotorshafting, or something is not moving the way its supposed to.

      Applying the rotor brake quite early.

      No 2min cool down before shutting down! 😳 Yeah they applied rotor brakes after shutdown,but still amazed with early engines shutdown.

      Compared with helicopters of the same level, how advanced is the s76d?

    • @joeplescia2145
      @joeplescia2145 2 роки тому +1

      @@dddjjj1980 it has a very nice Thales top deck avionics set up that is very user friendly and easy to use. Compared to a Agusta, Airbus, etc it’s on par with them too. The D’s were first delivered in 2013-2014 so it shows some signs of aging but nothing too serious and compared to the legacy fleet of 76’s is leaps and bounds more advanced and better. A fantastic machine easily my favorite.

      @dddjjj1980 2 роки тому

      @@joeplescia2145 I saw on the Internet that the aircraft of Agusta aw 139 is equipped with a short-range obstacle detection system, that is to say, within a relatively short distance of the aircraft, obstacles around a pole can be detected, which is similar to the function of reversing radar. Is Sikorsky S76 optional?

    Thats a professional pilot there... good coordination with cyclic collective and tail rotor controls in order to turning such a tight spot and land.

      @klk1900 3 роки тому +2

      Haha every pilot that’s flown a s-76c or D. I’ve got to fly the h225 h145 with 4-5 axis auto pilot. You literally just let go of the controls and it holds in one spot. Don’t be fooled. This is a brand new delta with a very advanced auto pilot. You just let go a it holds. Now when I jump back in the h125 I actually have to work. Especially with its giant tail rotor blade that pushes one side up on takeoff.
