MH-47G'S for special ops.(Nightstalkers) have two T55-GA-714 engines-- 5000 hp each.
I flew on Sikorsky s-76 back in the 80's with air medical services.
The MBB BO 105 and Bk 117 were my favorites, though

What’s turning 30,000 rpm? The rotor head certainly is not anywhere close to that. Maybe 200 or 300 rpm and the turbines are turning probably 10,000 rpm of that

Its difficult to say with so many different jet engines on the market and im not sure with this model but generally the fan speed is around 3,000 RPM. Any higher and the fan tips start to run supersonically, making a huge amount of noise in the form of a piercing drone. In contrast, the low pressure shaft spins at 12,000 RPM and the high-pressure shaft at around 20,000 RPM.For example, large jet engines operate around 10,000-25,000 rpm, while micro turbines spin as fast as 500,000 rpm

Turbine wheel up to 50,000 rpm, turboshaft up to 6,000 rpm, main rotors in the 300's. These are not high-bypass turbofan engines, they are geared turboshaft engines.

That's turbine rpm. These engines can spool further, up to around 50K rpm

I’m not 100% sure, I’d have to look it up as easily as you can, but I’m pretty sure that nearly all turbine helicopters, and especially one as sophisticated as an S-76, has synced power and collective. The levers he’s moving are for the different stages of power: start, ground idle, flight idle etc. I use airplane terms but the concepts are the same.
We’re witnessing him accelerate the engines from ground status to flight-ready status.

Wow!!! Took me a minute to figure out what you were trying to say. More like a power LEVER!!! big difference. Most if not all twin engine helicopters have power control levers in the upper console. How else would you be able to control each engine separately if and when you needed to? This is probably one of the safest helicopters to fly.
