That’s a great tip about setting the destination time prior to take off
Always helps me adjust a bit quicker
Come fly with me, let’s fly, let’s fly awaaaaaay…
Will be traveling from Ghana to Orlando Florida with BA2066/BA2037 on 8th July.
I'll be going through Gatwick and to Orlando.
👍👍👍
Looks like a great flight. Amanda and I luv BA. Looking forward to the next vlog
Thank you 🙏
Ooh free drinks hic 🤣 I’m on Ba in August first flight since 2012 thanks for the reminder of what I need to do 👍
Hahaha! Naughty Pat 😉
I did this flight with my dad back in 1988.we flew on 747.Good idea with altering your time to Orlando time
👍👍👍
Now they use 777 200s to vancouver as well a rust bucket off a plane over 30years old
Hi Jamie looked a great flight you was so lucky to have an aisle to yourself food looked good too fantastic video ❤
Very lucky 😅
Thank you for a lovely trip report, you seem so fun 😁 you've got a new subscriber ❤
Welcome onboard and thank you 🙏
@travelblogjamie amazing vlog, thanks. Can you say something more about legroom, please? I am 6,7 and thinking about buy extra space. What do you think?
I don’t think I can comment on how comfy it would be for someone much taller than me tbh
I’d always recommend extra space to anyone if they have the means
another excellent vlog jamie
🙏🙏🙏
Great video I’ve got to book are flights for next year in June I’m not sure if to fly virgin or BA? Which would you pick? Thanks
I’d go with cheapest
I'm sure the last time we flew to Orlando it was with BA on a 777 and it was pretty good. The time before we were on a Virgin 747 and before that I think it was a United 777 or maybe AA 777 but that was really cramped.
Seat configurations have changed over the years
@@TravelBlogJamie Yeah I remember flying on a BA 777 with 3 3 3 configuration in world traveller and that was quite comfortable with lots of space.
@ it’s not like that anymore unfortunately
@@TravelBlogJamie No I guess BA also needs to cram as many sardines into the tin as possible. We're off the NY in Feb on BA, world traveller on the way out and plus on the way back
Damn! You are a fun man; and mighty cute, too. I think we could have beers together. You sound like me about the bag check. My late, BELOVED husband always did those technical thing (or at least to me, technical). He was a cop, and nothing upset him. And, you use inhalers! Me, too. I'm flying from Nashville to Heathrow in 31 days!!!!!!!! Excited, never been to England. I have studied and studied about all this, haven't flown in years. Thanks so much, and I did subscribe.
You’re going to be just fine and have a great flight / time in England! 🙌🙌🙌
My dream to live there
❤️❤️❤️
Great vlog. Any tips for people who are nervous about flying. One of my friends haven't been on a flight for 10+ years, theyre scared of heights and extremly anxious about flying, theyre due to fly with me and i have no good advice 🤣 any tips?
Watch fear of flying videos on UA-cam would be my advice - understanding how planes work, all the noises, changes in speed etc and why they occur is important
Question my good sir, does 33 abc have to share a screen 📺 r do they all have individual screens? And do they have more legroom ?
Individual screens - I don’t know about leg room, you’d need to search on the seating plans
@@TravelBlogJamie cheers lad , I looked it up
Security--fair comments some of the stuff people were carrying...like wakey wakey people. Can recommend the sparking English wine place, the coffee and pastries were superb
Oh I’ll go there next time!!
Angry Birds 🔛🔝 Also, great video!
🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for the great video. Last time someone did that with the hand to me I dipped my fingers in my water. Made a sneezing noise and flicked it over the hand. It soon moved! 😂😂
Oh now then that’s a great idea!! Noted 🗒️
"If you are a size queen..." I almost spewed my coffee, buddy!!! Bahahahahahahahaa! My BELOVED was Austrian...
😉
😂 Sneeze on that hand 11:46
Haaaa!!!
Hello , where did you get the t shirt from you traveled in , love it
From Next! Last season though 😉
Thank you
Hi Jamie..thank you for this video..we are going to Orlando this July on BA and funnily enough our seats are the 26 A B C D!! Could you tell me if there is broadband on the flight please? Not sure if you mentioned it..maybe I missed that part. Travelling with a toddler..wondering if the first row in economy would be better to swap too? Xx
I did mention it, but no problem - it wasn’t working on this flight for some reason but is usually offered. I can’t really comment on travelling with a toddler - first row for what reason? 🤔
Neat video 👍🏻 - looked a very decent flight and food. The pondlife 14:53 who trashed their area are a disgraceful example of 2024 Broken Britain - poor Florida you need to get Old Sparky plugged in. My wife flew Abu Dhabi to Manila yesterday and got 3 seats plus window - that's the way to go .
🙏🙏🙏
Hi Jamie, I had the same flight in nov (and back in December) legroom for me was pretty poor as I’m 6ft 3 - and on the way back the person in front decided they were going to recline - crushing my knees .. so his seat couldn’t go all the way back - which meant he got angry - saying he was ‘going back’ attempting to force it back. Cabin crew came over and initially sided with him until I showed them my knees jammed into the back of the seat .. the guy wouldn’t move to the empty seat on his left so we had to move our seats to allow that self entitled - person - to recline .. fun times!
Thank you for sharing this feedback
Glad someone has same gripes as me with people at airport. Looking forward to this as we are hoping to go to Universal for a week in November but don’t know whether to use Tui or BA. Any thoughts and is one week enough for Universal and Seaworld.
I think a week is enough to do those, yes. I’d use BA - Tui fly to Melbourne and then another 1h30 transfer
Thanks Jamie BA it is then. Keep up the good work.
Hi is going to be my first time flying air british away from south Africa to London how is the experience I'm going with a friend .... do they have free wifie
Installed about the experience in detail on this vlog. WiFi is not free
@@TravelBlogJamie thank u how is the food ther is any good and movies are they good
@@biancamaia7904 I showed all food and movies in this vlog
@@TravelBlogJamie thank y will see it again
How would you rate economy legroom compared to virgin . I am 6ft 2 .....
Very similar
@@TravelBlogJamie Thank you , just booked with BA next year , hopefully lives up to our many previous trips with virgin.
What type of headphone jack does the media system use?
Don’t remember off top of my head but I’m certain I filmed the media system and outlets
Not to be a pessimist but what seat are you in on way back? As we are in row 20 with the baby seat and I hope it’s just as big for legroom 😂
31K from memory, exit row seat
@@TravelBlogJamie ah great. We are in 20A-C and I’ve seen it’s the same legroom as yours thankfully! Godsend with 2 kids
Do they have the passport machines or did you see an officer at immigration?
Neither on way out - checked on arrival at baggage claim drop and then at gate
❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
The best luck with getting no one next to you and then getting through Orlando security quickly - the travel gods were smiling on you 😂
You haven’t been to the new terminal C?! It’s a breeze
@@TravelBlogJamieit’s been a while since we’ve been but every time security coming in was a nightmare! Let’s face it American immigration and security isn’t the best. Last trip through security was outgoing from NYC back to Heathrow, it was crowded, chaotic and loud with shouting and that was just the staff 😂
Oh my life Jamie just watching this at a very apt time, we went for a very short flight from Heathrow to Düsseldorf with our daughter (1st flight at 3 yo) and on the way out it was fine but on the way back I told myself never again 😂 I think I’ll pay the extra for priority and fast tracking security. People are morons!!
Yuo, as if it’s all a surprise lol 😂
They are the same people who are surprised you have to pay once all their groceries are scanned at the supermarket 🤦🏼♀️😆
Lololol 😂
busses are cheaper to use instead of uber. they are verry cheap. you just need to firgure out what bus you need
The last think I want is to take a bus after a 9 hour flight - Uber is perfect for me
That BA 777 sure has filthy flaps
Uh huh
Nice video. It's funny you point out all those things that drive me "crazy" about other travellers....I think the worst was the row you showed with the mess on the floor! Shameful. Your videos amaze me when I think about all your editing and filming work strictly on your I-phone. Might be time to cross over the next time I need a new phone.
iPhone editing is the easiest and most efficient for me ❤️
British airways is one of the worst airways i have ever taken..... So many people around the world have same aweful experience as mine, i believe that those who think British airways Is the Best never experience something good.
I believe people who can’t see there is good and bad in everything are exceptionally ignorant
