Love the flautist playing the natural classical (as opposed to modern) flute. Concerto 5 showcases the expressiveness of the flute vis a vis the accompaniment of the strings with the harpsichordist providing the beat. Excellent performance!!! Bravo!!!

Actually I’m going to agree with @gilgermech. I have heard many versions of this cadenza and I’m sorry to say imo from 7:54 in the video onwards, it was just a clattered crashed blur of notes. I appreciate the idea of a concerto where performer plays solos is to sympathetically employ a degree of artistic licence in embellishing their part not least to demonstrate their virtuosity, but all this suggested to me was either an ill conceived idea or to poorly disguise at that point had a failure of dexterity to execute the notes correctly. In fact execute them he did gruesomely! Let’s just say that the gentleman I have no doubt is an accomplished performer, but that on this occasion he had an off moment. And to be fair, I can’t even play chopstics😂
C'est vrai! le mauvais goût n'a pas de frontières et même la décoration du clavecin suffit à peine. Koopman est également brillant pour rendre la cadence exceptionnelle. Toutefois, dans de nombreux endroits de cette cadence, il est foiré et confus. Quelqu'un devrait dire ceci, avec les éloges. Mais je le répète, c'est génial.
