Hal didn't play on all the records. There's always the misconception that the Wrecking Crew recorded all of the Beach Boys' music. Few members of the Wrecking Crew recorded on some songs in early '64. In '65, at least half of Today was recorded by the WC and rest by the Beach Boys themselves. Summer Days was mostly the WC (BB's recorded a handful). WC recorded all of Pet Sounds (minus one song), as well as all of the SMiLE sessions. I believe Hal recorded on some of Wild Honey, and Friends, but beyond that, the Beach Boys either recorded themselves, or with help from other non WC session musicians. While Dennis may not have recorded a lot of tracks, he did record more than people give him credit for, even during the session player dominated albums.
LOL, but, at least it's better looking than Trump's hair. What a mess that is but image was everything back in the day and still is today and he had to do it all in front of a camera which is even worse and besides like that one guy said what does your hair look like and body look like. He who is without sin can cast the first stone but you did make me laugh pretty well.
No, not all the Brothers. Carl Wilson, Dennis Wilson, Al Jardine, Bruce Johnson and some creep named Love. The immortal Brian Wilson was not touring with the band at that time.
Agree. They're not doing anybody any favors by not showing his face! As "huascar66" said in the thread above this one, Johnston is a fine musician in his own right.
This must be an old video. Hateful Mikey still has (some) hair. And, no hat. What is that instrument called, that he is playing? Hands? DAMN Mikey was good on the hands. And, a tambourine. There are a few videos, where he is wearing a Saxophone. Fingers NEVER moved. Brian must have SERIOUS back issues, from carrying Mikey for almost 60 years! steve
The old surf music was the best!
The Beach Boys are an important piece of Americana. The likes of which we will never see again.
Carl always looks so happy and “bouncy”. Makes me feel happy and bouncy too!
This is phenomenal music. These men are truly talented.
❤Loving this xxx❤
My favorite Beach Boys song.
Love...DO IT AGAIN.
What do I love about this video? EVERYTHING.
I've seen them 5 times in concert and LOVE THEM!
So California, so Beach Boys, so classic!

Ich liebe diesen Sound einfach umwerfend
Schweden Urlaube Ende der 60iger bei neuen Bekannten mit gleichem Feeling und viel Sound von Musik-Cassetten. Erinnerungen und Gedanken auch an NRW.

Cool song. Iam glad i hated the BB growing up in calif.. Now i have all these songs discover.
I wish this wasn’t overdubbed with the studio version. I like the live Ed Sullivan version better.
Fenomenal besitos Mapi Barranco garcia de la parra y Luesma
Great version all the brothers together nice
No.....Brian was not there.....that's why they never focused on his face.
Yeah that was Bruce on the keys

@@stephenburke3147 Mike Love is the best member of the band
No Brian Wilson here.
Camera man is a Richard. Not showing Bruce 😑

Looks like a toupee. And besides lead vocals, he wrote the lyrics.
From genius (Smile) to self-parody. They should have fired Mike Love.
The lead singer looks about 48 here but he's only 23 years old.
Melvin Melt it's just the beard
Apart from Mike love
- He helped write it.
Fuck me im fifty and he looks older than me lol
Is that Brian Wilson in back on the keyboards? How come they never do a closeup of him?
***** I think that's bruce johnston
+Freyja11331ify Hahaha......get your ears cleaned out...........
+Freyja11331ify brian had panic attacks and soon was traumatized on tour and stop touring soon after in the mid 1960s
