So I guess they rely on machines to use the magic for them, so that they don't lose any of their own magic themselves maybe. Might be one reason Idia doesn't like to go to class (other than being anxious and all), because there's no point trying to improve his magic because of the curse... I wonder if this has something to do with the current Ortho? He even says "your curse" to Idia, not "our curse" even though they're "brothers". So here’s what confuses me about both the curse and even just the dynamics of magic and blot in general. While the curse burns away blot, Idia also made it sounds like the blot he produces acts like a shield for his own mana (or why else would he need to keep producing blot?) If that’s the case, wouldn’t more blot make it harder for the curse to reach his mana? And if so, wouldn’t it make more sense to actually use higher level magic instead (to produce more blot) of just plateau? Or am I missing something? For now I’m led to believe that the curse has to get through blot first before reaching his magic meter. But if it burns both magic and blot simultaneously, then I can understand why his magic level has to be capped. Nonetheless the need to produce blot still has me thinking of it as a prior layer.

0:13 - Interesting that Grim has traces of powerful magic despite having relatively weak magic. 1:24 - Idia has a curse? And the blue fire hair is a sign of that? 1:43 - 2:04 - Grim was cursed by someone that has magic that is 1000 years old? Was the person who cursed him an immortal or is Grim an immortal that has been around for at least 1000 years? 2:05 - 2:19 - I know this is talking about the nature of the curse that Idia and Grim have but somehow I can't help but think about how Sleeping Beauty had the good fairies give blessings to Aurora while Maleficient delieverd a curse to the princess and wonder if Silver falling asleep all the time might be a curse put on him. 2:21 - 2:37 - So Idia's family has been given this curse to burn blot from forming as a punishment for their ancestors' rebellion. I'm now curious about why the ancestors wanted to rebel. 2:40 - 3:06 - So the Shroud family has to pay for their ancestors' sins by becoming ''Keeper of the Land of Grief''. I wonder if there is more to the ancestors wanting to rebel against the Jupiter family than wanting power. 3:06 - 3:16 - So that's why Idia at the end of chapter 5 said he had no hopes and dreams. 3:23 - 3:36 - Well, it makes sense for it to take a long time to get rid of phantoms from the world. 3:52 - 4:27 - Huh, this explains why Idia has been shown to use more technology in battle than magic. So the trade off of keeping the blot from accumlating is having your magic power slowly disappear? I wonder if this is going to show blot is something necessary to keep wizards in line from trying to gain more magic. 4:30 - 4:51 - I really feel bad for Idia and his family. They have no choice but to work for S.T.Y.X. with the curse they were given. 4:59 - 5:09 - Idia, you could use the research that your ancestors gathered and combined it with your own and you could get closer to finding a cure. He's like Leona in that he's smart but doesn't apply it because he has given up on things ever changing. 5:13 - 5:36 - So there was another Ortho? I know the human Ortho theory has been around for a while but I guess this confirms it. So they have tried to escape before and something ended up happening to original Ortho? This is giving me Orpheus and Eurydice or Icarus vibes. Leaving the Phantoms unattended to does sound dangerous. 5:37 - 5:49 - So this is why Idia attaches so hard to fictional stories and characters so much though it's still bad to think that stuff disappearing is the worst thing to happen if the phantoms got out and wreck havoc on the world again. 5:52 - Reset button? What did Idia's ancestors planned to do with that? 5:59 - I guess this explains why he hates interacting with people he considers ''normies'' so much. 6:08 - 6:21 - Ortho, you're right. 6:22 - 6:33 - This makes me wonder if Idia would get along with Disney's Hades considering how vastly different they are from each other. 6:45 - What is this ''Lethe River'' plan they keep talking about? Is it just making the boys forget they were at S.T.Y.X. or are they planning to do more than that? 6:56 - It's sweet that Ortho believes that his brother can break the curse. 7:24 - 7:34 - Leona is really showing his privileged prince status here. 7:35 - 7:47 - Jamil has gotten a lot snarkier since the end of chapter 4 and I am living for it. 7:48 - 8:06 - Even after getting kidnapped, Riddle still needs to follow the Queen of Hearts' rules. 8:07 - 8:21 - Azul, you really sound like an old man here. 8:35 - Is this a reference to Hades telling Meg that he owns her? 9:12 - Leona is really good with burns. 9:24 - 9:30 - Idia, you can't compare you being able to play your games to the boys being forcibly taken and having to take tests to get out. 9:34 - 9:48 - I also wonder why they left their son in charge if they knew what he was like? Is this to prepare him for taking the job of "Keeper" when his parents passed away? 9:49 - Idia, you're literally complaining about the same things that the overblot boys did when they were first brought here. Guss we know where Idia gets his prefering efficiency from. 9:56 - 10:07 - Wonder why they have to take Crowley to the Land of Dawning to interrograte him. 10:13 - Ortho, that's not what's happening here. That's a very sugarcoated way to describe the situation. 10:21 - See, Idia agrees. 10:22 - 10:39 - Ortho, kidnapping classmates is hardly a way to form positive connections with people. 10:47 - See, Idia gets it. 10:54 - No, Ortho. That's not the same. Giving prisoners freedom to move around does not make them any more free or even willing to be there. 10:59 - He really does. 11:03 - Well, it's a good thing you're not friends with them otherwise you kidnapping them would be awkward and a betrayal to them. Though I guess you're kinda friends with Azul or at least club members. 11:15 - 11:24 - They really are behaving like problematic children. 11:25 - What else do you expect from NRC students? This is what you get for taking them forcibly. 11:36 - There are more test subjects here? 11:44 - They're experimenting on the phantoms? 12:10 - Class A? You categorize the phantoms? 12:43 - That seems like an incident waiting to happen. 13:23 - They're really pulling the Greek myths. 13:24 - MORE THAN TEN THOUSAND?!!! 14:00 - They can disappear? And some can live for more than a thousand years? 14:15 - Is this a reference to Hercules' 12 labours? 15:32 - Idia, didn't you say that people couldn't leave the room they're in for a few hours? Where are you going? 15:46 - 16:01 - This is what happens when you give your prisoners room service. 16:30 - 16:46 - Keeping the boys in a room together like that for a few hours would lead to them killing each other. 16:52 - Ortho, no. The only that would be interested would be Azul. And playing board games can lead to more fighting. Ask anyone that plays Monopoly. 17:12 - You could always knock them out with sleeping gas until the tests are over. 17:30 - I gotta agree with Idia. A lot of the boys don't seem like the type to play computer games. And you need to find educational games for Riddle to even play one.
It's so interesting to read your perspective on everything. You made me realize things I completely missed. Thanks for taking the time to make this. Seems like a lot of work so I definitely really appreciate this even if it's clearly not for me.

Idia said “what happened to “Ortho” when we tried getting out of here.” I’m more and more convinced that Ortho used to be a human before because of this now. Maybe before this thing that happened to Ortho he used to be a child genius or something. But I’m kind of sure that he used to be a normal human in the past. This is just what I think though. It also looks like they’ve been at this blot research for so long, I mean I get it, this is to prevent any serious overblot to happen but everyone who did overblot looked fine after they did. Is there something that we don’t know about like other not that obvious side effects from overblot? Because the victims of overblot seems to be doing okay. Ortho and Idia’s fate has been decided since they were born, to be researchers of STYX, honestly I feel bad for them.
Class A Phantoms are more stronger than the weakest class. I wonder if the Titans are Class A.
It's so interesting to read your perspective on everything. You made me realize things I completely missed. Thanks for taking the time to make this. Seems like a lot of work so I definitely really appreciate this even if it's clearly not for me.
Aww Grim is dreaming about us
Curse? What curse? Does our Idia-baby have a curse that we didn't know about!?
Does anybody else felt that pain in their hearts when Idia told his family history?
WHAT HAPPEN TO ORTHO!?!?!?!?!?!
Oh my heart!!!!
The Dorm Perfects and Jamil r just so...🤣🤣🤣🤣
Its like a hotel to them not knowing that they were having a moment
Dang that alarm is loud!!!
That sounds really scary even if it was explained
Aww they got Ortho pouty
I want to c a sleeping contest of Leona and Silver
I WANT TO HUG THAT ADORABLE CYBOG DUMPLING!!!!!!
It’s 4 am and I have a flight in 2 hours but this is more important
Idia said “what happened to “Ortho” when we tried getting out of here.” I’m more and more convinced that Ortho used to be a human before because of this now. I also commented in the previous video that there might be a chance that Ortho used to be a human but maybe something horrible and serious happened in the building next to the pillar that turned him cyborg like. If they were free to choose what they want Idia would probably be a pro gamer or like a UA-camr who plays games and Ortho would sometimes be invited as a guest. Both would be one of the most popular gamers in their world. Sadly they’re not able to do this until the research is complete which seems to have been happening for generations.
Edit: Also the way that the brothers talk to each other are so cute!!! It’s just impossible to hate them!!🥺🥺🥺 #siblinggoals
The 5 victim of overblot is doing fine because they saparated from their phantom by defeat them on time. So they are survive
@@yeoraa908 technically, Yuu's presence increases the chances of survival due to their role as the strategist. Plus their ghost camera is capable of looking through the overblot victim's inner memories, the source of their negative emotions that accumlate to overblot.
@@vanessachowjiaying4423 .... i actually not talk about yuu. The 5 victim of overblot is doing fine because they was defeated on time. If not its will be dengrous for their life and possiblly the phantom will take over them ( probably phantom in prolog is one of it and that kind of phantom that caged up in tartarus). But because they defeated the phantom is gone too and riddle, jamil, leona, azul, vil doing fine like now.
@@vanessachowjiaying4423 but you right. Is great theory about yuu incrrase the ob's victim survive
well, ortho himself says that it was basically a miracle that all of them came out alive and without killing anyone, so its safe to assume its something incredibly dangerous of happening
I really wanna know more about Grim. I feel like there needs to be a manual for the Shroud family curse but most of all, Give me back my Grim !!!
You just gotta love them plot wholes
What plot holes did you notice.
What I notice at the end it when ortho was by himself it seem like he talking to somebody or something I'm wondering if it one of the phantoms
I also wanna learn more about grim where did he come from what he actually is and also the reason why he can't remember much from is past was he originally giant monster!?
I and I think the real or tho was killed by something when he helped idia escape
Also this ortho is showing more of his robotic side and idias curse and reasons why he's always in a negative mood all the time
THANK YOU FOR TRANSLATING!!! You are a legend to this fandom 🥺🥺💖💞
16:52
When Ortho recommended to play board games with the dorm leaders, and Idia saying they'll cause more conflict, can we not forget that Azul was able to get the number he wants by manipulating his dice and luck? Azul will make everyone rage after all. HAHA
My guts telling me that Grim maybe used to be one of the magical beast that kept in the underworld and somehow escapes from it and I think he used to be a giant beast
7:51 Riddle...🙂At a time like this?! 😭
That speed tho
The plot chickens
Ah, yes. The plot has been very tasty lately
It's finger lickin good
Wait If Idia and his family can't Overblot what happened to the "real/human" Ortho?
Ohhh yeahhhhh 😯😯
You've heard the story of "Icaras," right? That's my theory about what happened to Ortho.
@@DreamDragoness25 can you explain me what is that story about?
@@heronromero194 Icarus and his father trued to escape from Crete by making wings with feathers and wax and flying out of there. Daedalus warned his son that the wax will melt if they fly too close to the sun, however Icarus didn't listen, and kept flying higher until the wax melted off and Icarus fell to his watery grave in the Mediterranean
@@heronromero194 basically icarus was the son of daedalus, who escaped with his father from King Minos from crete and his wife pasiphae the mother of the minotaur. Daedalus was the one who created the labyrinth the minotaur was trapped in. Anyways daedalus created wings made out of wax for him and his son icarus. Though when they flew away icarus was finally feeling free and flew too near to the sun. His wings melted and he fell into the sea and drowned. In another versions it was the gods who didn't like that icarus was near the sky/sun and melted his wings. But he died in the end anyways
Poor Idia, trying to handle everything from them as possible
I've been waiting for this!
Thank you, Yui-senpai!💕💕
It's the boys intentionally being a pain in the ass that's killing me!
Oof Ortho can't read the room well... 😂
Thank you for the translation as always! I look forward to the next segment! :3
Thank you for translating🥰🥰
The way Idia couldnt handle everyone's demands 😂😂😂😂😂 Well, you did kidnap Kalim's bodyguard, who somehow always has to move his body doing something cuz thats his normal everyday, A Supermodel, A royal family second prince , Heartslabyul's rule abiding leader, and a capitalist who has to be updated everyday abt recent economic happenings
This was an interesting chapter. I learned so much about idia and his family. Plus the dorm leaders are definitely like children lol. Just watching them complain to idia and vil and leona have a small bicker about sleep is just funny to watch. 😂
Ortho - lets play games! Computer games!
Jamil, Leona - are actually okay with it squad.
Riddle, Vil and Azul : endless complaining squad.
oh so that's why we haven't seen the blot dropping scene thing in this chapter bc idia is burning it lol. also makes sense why his pen doesn't have a stone gem in it ><
can't wait to see the overblot gang playing games together tho lmaooooo
My sister and I have come to the conclusion that Idia is a Disney princess. Specifically Repunzel.
Idia’s curse is so interesting!! This chapter is making me like him even more than I did before
You are a blessing
So Y'all just chilling despite being kidnapped by force ??
Nice to know y'all still alive lol
Thank you so much for the upload and translation!
I’m glad that we got some backstory to Idia. Poor dude no wonder he acts like he does.
Those kids though. xD What did Idia expect when dealing with the most demanding kids at that school (Jamil not really as demanding just snarky 😆)
It would be interesting to think of they would act the same if it had been Idia’s parents doing these experiments instead of Idia.
I really love the lore tho. Everything makes so much sense and Idia dealing with dorm leaders I can't--- 😭🤣
Thank you so much for translating!! 💕💕💕
Ahhh you posted!!!!
Grim is just *one step* away from overbloting
Idia made a defense system named *Cerberus* for Hades sake, *when he was freaking 12 🥲*
If ever the phantoms get out it will be literally -ALL HELL BREAK LOSE-
Ortho almost started a -war- by suggesting a board game
AND WHAT KIND OF HELL HAPPENED TO ORTHO???!
-thank god I'm already laying down, or else I might've faceplant on the ground-
I love that Leona and the others bully idia (Poor Idia)😂😂
oh heckie yeeeeesss!!!!!
thank you for the translation
YESS THANK YOU SO MUCH 🥺🥺!!! something to do on my work break 😭!! ありがとございます!(^ω^)
And here I thought Idia would torture them instead they torture him. They are like “nah let’s torture this idiot”
Ortho ways of talking in the end remind me of a kindergarten teacher try to gather their students 😅
11:22 Meat, black tea, business magazine lol
14:13 A Fate worse than Death.
Guy's I think...Grim might be the first monster we ever had to fight...That big cat thing. This is just a theory. But the way idia is describing grim.
I'm still watching these but I pray the powers that be preserve this man Idia Shroud.
You know Im starting think everytime Idia's hair color changes, it's bc his curse is starting to eat up his magic instead of blot
Leona has me dead man he is so snarky
"Blah, blah, blah, blah... What is this? A zoo?"
No, my guy. You're in a daycare where all the children are your responsibility to take care of.
oh no the pain of idia
Im wondering if idia will go into overbolt
9:16 ngl leona has a point
Omg i just finished Hades im mixing up 2 different games that has both greek myth stuff
Can we talk about how Idia created The Cerberus at the age of 12?
Thank you for translating!! 💖💕
I really wish they had something related to Thanatos or the main gate being called "H.E.C.A.T.E" because it is said she has the keys to the gates of the underworld. Maybe something referencing Persephone and her going back to Demeter every spring?
Damn we got to the good part the part where they act like normal teens lol
WOOOO
13:23 Look like the prison in the cabin in the wood
Thx ya for update
8:36 yo I'm not gonna lie this part is makes idia look kinda hot 😟
Especially with Azul playing in a boatd game nope, nope
if idia's body constantly burning blot, how is he gonna ob? are we getting our first non ob case? if the curse doesn't affects ortho as its implied, is ortho gonna ob? goodness gracious
.....Were that deeper level is where that "ortho" being caged?
I'm having a straight up headache trying to find all these hidden mickeys ;-;
12:07 the pattern of the lock(?) looks the same as the one around Ortho’s neck, Was that on purpose or a coincidence? I don’t see a reason for a lock to be around his neck.
Now where's Yuu, Rook and Epel??
They're in a different room. Stuck in there.
Just out of curiosity, at 5:55 what did Idia mean by "reset button"?!!!
Can someone explain? I did not really understand grim's case
Ничего не понимаю, но так интересно 😍
The Shrouds are descendants of Titans? Like Helios and Gaia!? No wonder they burn their overblots.
11:18
Right here i think they're just purposely being annoying as hell- who wouldn't
I'm not sure (and I really hope that this will never happen) but there's still a possibility that Ortho will overblot (instead of Idia), I'm scared :')
11:42 SUS? AMOGUS? im sorry ignore me lmao
isn't Idia trapped there with them?! RIP IDIA
11:42 Sus?
ORTHO BABY BOII
I have suspected it for a while but i have to ask. Is Ortho dead? The way he spoke of ortho like someone completely different from the boy next to me makes me wonder if they are the same person. Is that really ortho, just his soul or something else completely?
Riddle please.. you are a subject and you are still demanding the Queen of Hearts rules? I'm Dying please.. 😭😭
And they all sudden act like a three year old Child.. OMG..
Computer game huh... I wonder what kinda game they will play. Among us? League of Legends? Fortnight? What other games that involved digitally murderinging each other?
Just wow. Are they even act like kids and yell at Idia? Seriously? 😅
Every time idia shows up I'm like haha loser weeb boy gross imagine how annoying he'd be irl but every time he appears it dawns on me more and more that I am exactly like that this is agony
I know I’m late but ur so real for this
