Looks delicious and hearty. I currently don't have a stove, but I do have an electric skillet and this will be perfect in that. Thanks for all your recipes and kindness.
Hi, Angelica, I love lasagna! I will try this for sure! Friend, I just wanted you to know in case you didn't know that Andy's Cafe closed down. I know that you are still here in Houston and you grew up going to Andy's like I did. Thank you so so much for recreating those dishes and giving them a huge shout-out!! They will never know how much Houston, TX, and I from Pasadena, TX, have enjoyed the delicious food and the beautiful service(35 Years)! I will forever love and miss my Andy's Cafe! God bless you, my beautiful girl, and your family. Sending you lots of love, Chica!
I'm making this for dinner tonight, and I'm sure it will be delicious! So many of your recipes have become staples in my kitchen. I absolutely love your style of cooking and the way you put together your videos. Thank you for all of your hard work that you put into sharing these recipes with the world and please continue to do so!!!
I make fast lasagna easy too. I just layer everything in the pan and I use regular lasagna noodles to make it too. I cook my meat , then the sauce, then I layer everything in the lasagna pan, the noodles are uncooked. After I make my lasagna I pour 1 cup of beef and tomato broth in the pan around the lasagna. Then I bake it for 35 to 45 minutes and serve it with salad and crusty garlic parmesan cheese bread and sweet tea. I've made your lasagna before and it's great! I've even used spaghetti noodles instead of lasagna noodles and it was good too. 🙂 This is a wonderful recipe. Thanks for sharing 😁
Thank you for sharing Angelika and family have a blessed day stay safe and healthy. I've been wanting to make lasagna but don't have the time this is a incredible recipe yummy I'm soooooooo going to make this. Again Thank you Angelaca. 😋😋😋🙏❤🙏❤🙏
I was thinking of making a ricotta mix like you would use to stuff shells - ricotta, egg, parsley. Then I’d bury spoonfuls into the “lasagna” so it wouldn’t break up and dissolve. 🙄?
Hello Angelica love the dish looks great and delicious that would really help me get my Laguna fix .Where did you get the pasta at all i have in my area to shop is Walmart. thanks for the recipe and the video
Hi, You made a point of saying low moisture mozzarella several times. Are there different tyoes of mozzarella in the fridge section? This looks so good,I gotta make it. You make everything look easy enough for kitchen-phobic me to get in there and try. Appreciate it,thanks.
YUM!!! 🤤 This looks super easy and quick! I will absolutely be trying this. What brand of noodles are those? I have never seen those in my local grocery store.
Mama is a great cook❤❤❤it looks fantastic. I use my wooden spoon, too. Too many gadgets. Takes up too much room. I love iron pans, too. Would you ever take us grocery shopping and explain some of the foods you use? Like "table cream"? I'll have to buy some! Walmart and Aldi's are my main stores. Mama's in the kitchen ❤❤❤
Thank you ,Thank you, love it very easy to make this will be my tomorrow's dinner. I also grew up on hamburger helper. We had to stretch the Meal LOL..
So if you take your video to 5:25; add chicken stock to cover and you have a great lasagne soup. Jazz it up with Italian sausage chunks out of the skin when you were frying the hamburger, add mushrooms too. Instead of mozzarella,I dice cubed cream cheese into the soup bowls. 😊🇨🇦
You know, your future daughter in laws are going to have big shoes to fill. Don't be surprised with the sons popping in for dinner more often then not. LOL
I used oven ready noodles because I already had them. It was perfectly edible, but not excellent. They didn't absorb as much fluid, so the result was quite soupy. Also, they got pretty soft. Not quite mushy, but far past al dente. Overall I'd say it's fine, but if you're buying specifically for this recipe, definitely don't choose them. My questionable choice of noodles aside, it was a great recipe. I'll definitely make it again.

Oh man. This looks so good. Definitely going to make this. I do the same thing with my jars of sauce and things, except I use wine. 😊
Wine substituting for something here, or added wine? I really like the taste of sauce made with wine.
Thx
It looks amazing!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Umm umm good 😋
Thank you very much.
A few sliced black olives on top would be nice! Good recipe idea. Yes, it looked like the old box pan lasagna only much better! Gonna do this!
Angelica this looks great. BTW what sz. is your skillet?
You know, your future daughter in laws are going to have big shoes to fill. Don't be surprised with the sons popping in for dinner more often then not. LOL
❤❤❤
Yesssss! Can I use pre shredded mozzarella?
Hell yeah🤩🤩🤩
Where can you find the little lasagna noodles?
I used oven ready noodles because I already had them. It was perfectly edible, but not excellent. They didn't absorb as much fluid, so the result was quite soupy. Also, they got pretty soft. Not quite mushy, but far past al dente. Overall I'd say it's fine, but if you're buying specifically for this recipe, definitely don't choose them.
My questionable choice of noodles aside, it was a great recipe. I'll definitely make it again.
Lasagna without heating the house for an hour sounds like a win-win to me!
Is the cream used for like what the ricotta would of done?
I wonder about a few dollops of ricotta on top pre melt...
Wonder if ricotta cheese would be better than cream or heavy cream
You did great. My stove would be a mess. The way I cook, I would need a deeper pan
Just for reference, I think the best meat masher is a potato masher, and it's double duty!
I add cottage cheese to the cheese no need for the cream.
Where do I access the recipe? Ty!
No kidding way to get your lasagne fix. Hope I can find those noodles.
you might like to try Monterey Jack instead of Mozzarella, it might make your skillet lasagna taste more like pizza.
Can you freeze leftovers?
Where did you find the mini lasagne pasta? I have never seen that before, definitely trying this recipe.
My husband brought home 2 bags of mini lasagna pasta from the World Market store. I typically break sheets of lasagna pasta when I do this.
What cream did you use? Was it Mexican crema ?
This could be easily adapted for the Instant Pot.
What is table cream... I've never heard of that before.
It's a Mexican thing
Don't bother on the utensil that breaks apart meat. I got it and I never use it! Wooden spatula is where it's at!
What type of plate is that? Is that bamboo? Do you like it?
Making this tonight with salad and bread. I don't have heavy cream, but I thought I could use cream cheese melted.
