If you think about it, the Swarmers situation right now is a lot like the situations that Toxic Gunner and Jester went through after their bug fix. Jester and Toxic Gunner could slow bosses, and when that was removed the community got mad because the event towers didn’t slow down bosses, I literally saw someone say “Jester should be able to slow bosses”, no it shouldn’t. Swarmer, Toxic Gunner and Jester all created an unrealistic expectation of all event towers having to have some game breaking mechanic. Their nerfs were very well deserved. Also I really like the way you explain things and the soundtracks you put in the background, now let’s hope you get more recognition Edit 1: Some things I forgot to mention, Toxic Gunner and Jester are still usable, Swarmer technically is as well but it’s so bad there is no point of using it. Jester slowing and confusing bosses was intended, the same balancer who allowed Jester to affect bosses later then retired. Edit 2: Some other things I forgot to mention, Swarmers targeting is bugged, making him attack enemies that are already “Swarmed” by bees, making him less effective. yeah but the diference being that now hes just actual dogshit, jester and toxic gunner are completly usable and good towers swarmers bug fix killed him and made him even more buggy, making just keep atacking the same enemy with his main attack bassicaly requiring random targeting thats the main diference
@@togeluga_the_cat Yep, Toxic Gunners slow isn’t as powerful, but with the new targeting and much faster attack speed it can hit many enemies at once, has good crowd control and some really strong defense melting. Jester is still good at slowing any other enemies that do not have the “boss” modifier and is great at a lot of things (Going by what I have heard since I don’t have Jester, got Toxic Gunner with money) But the poor beekeeper is just a worse Toxic Gunner without slow, if you think about it. And I feel like when it gets reworked, it’s bee stacking might become a feature. (Keyword:Might become a feature, they may not want something like that in their game)

I disagree with the people who say event tower shouldn't be good, I mean an even its supossed to be hard so the rewards should be atleast good, you may say that the old player with the event tower have adventages over the don't have it, and what? The players who didn't get it dont need it to win the game or complete challenges and if that player want that adventage just buy it when its on sale, thats what I mean, just see like this, why the people who got the tower by doing the event or bought it are just gonna have a decoration tower because it would be "unfair" for the player who don't have it when its no neccesary to win and the event tower its the reward
Id say they need to make it so that event towers are good but not in the meta like gladiator once used to be in the meta for thoose f2p that don't have robux to buy it and didnt play on 2019 sfoth event they are missing out on some of the best towers(at that time) in the game in 2024 Its much better now because something like the snowballer sucks ass cuz its hella easy to get while something like the elementalist is actually a pretty good tower but not in the meta

Every video on this channel is just whining about different aspects of TDS, and it’s kinda sad. Each tower will eventually be reworked and freshened up, just trust in the developers and accept the fact that Roblox isnt what it used to be.
People have trust issues with the devs when they introduced the ultimate skin and 4th of July skin which cause many to think their greedy having tons of gamepasses when they announced the sandbox mode said it was going to ruin the player experience people started to think their lying because sandbox mode existed a long time most have never killed its player count the index was completely a good idea but a terrible execution they should've made it like one kill to get not rng the premium pass was the last straw people are starting to think they've become greedy hexscape was very grindy compared to op ice the community wants to nerf the gatling but it wasn't the nerf they asked for its the piercing is what made it op

As somebody with a few old event towers, I'm really glad that the devs are reworking old event towers. I'm disappointed that they're locked behind a paywall, but still. Event towers should NOT be S or even A tier either. It's better for them to be F tier, rather than being META and putting players at a disadvantage for not having them. At least that way, they wouldn't generate any FOMO. A lot of people think this is fine, since it gives the event towers a use, but in reality, they're just making it harder for new players to play the game.

A good buff for swarmer could act like jester it either stuns them confuse them or slow them although he's mid to late the price maybe 3500 cash but it's 5x expensive maybe 5 placement limit AND the swarm ability can confuse bosses for 5 seconds better jester but idk I thought of this all because of the goody animation it gave to zombies
you forgot that swarmer is an AoE tick damage tower, 25 damage with 0.2 tick, which is 125 DPS, will make it way too overpowered compared to other AoE towers.

I have an idea for swarmers rework: 1)cost increase across all lvls. 2)make bees stack. 3)placement limit like 20-15 4)some stat increases. this should be good enought to make him good or decent
@@Name-qo1zh Also I’m gonna add some stuff to your Swarmer rework idea 5) Make a limit to how much the bees can stack, like 5 maybe 6) increase the max stack of bees depending on the level, so maybe a plus two increase per level in bee stacking 7) make the ability throw honey that slows down enemies or puts a poison affect that also stacks up to ten. 8) Make bosses unaffected by his poison debuff but affected by his bees stacking.
I remember hunting for the roblox eggs and when i got to tds i didnt know the diffrence between hard and easy. I ended up doing hard and still won. I was so confused why i had a random tower in my inventory and why i didnt get the egg, evetually i moved on. It was clear i wasnt so smart back in the day lol.

Also make it have a cap limit or something or a silver lining where stacking up to 3 will make a larger explosion that does do damage but it is not op just 2000 dmg and will not go like 7 stacks = 2 explosions and 1/3 stacks no if it is gonna calculate like that instead per stack cap above 3 like a total of 6 stack it would increase damage by 300 per 3 extra stack
Have you considered event towers are supposed to not be great? They're event towers, meaning limited. Making them OP makes an unfair advantage to future players when their respective event goes away.
Tds is not allergic to multiple good towers, you can still do viable stalling without event towers like Sledger or Frost Blaster, and no point in events if the rewards are terrible.
Other towers that deserve buffs: 1. Mortar. Crowd control is a cheap excuse for the fact that it sucks when compared to towers like ranger & pursuit. And keep in mind, you can get ranger before you’re even level 50, while mortar requires that you be level 75. 2. Literally all the starter towers. These towers are the most power creeped for progression’s sake. I genuinely think they should move demoman & hunter into the intermediate category. 3. Pyromancer. This tower just doesn’t stand a chance against crook boss DPS-wise, and its support is lackluster. Now, here’s a hot take: They gotta nerf fallen mode. I’m not saying nerf the fallen king, I’m saying NERF THE FALLEN JESTERS & TONE DOWN THE STUN ABUSE. It’s already bad enough that the sheer amount of stunning has practically forced everybody to use stun-immune DPS towers for the late game. And the fallen jesters are JUST THE WORST. These guys can make EVERYTHING 4 times harder to deal with, but there’s only VERY FEW ways to kill them quickly, resulting in a MISERABLE enemy to deal with. (seriously though, is there any other way of dealing with the fallen jesters quickly on wave 39? The only methods I know are trapper, military base’s airstrikes, & just dealing a ton of DPS.
mortar: 👍, its rework is a little overdue starter towers: eh, maybe? the starter towers do just fine in the, well, starter sections of the game, ofc they get powercrept once you advance beyond that point pyro: 👍, same case as mortar fallen mode: skill issu- nerf nimble to no longer stack (because yes, the double speed modifier STACKS), but beyond that, i think fallen mode is fine in terms of difficulty (i'd rather buff molten mode a little)
@@lewisyang8454 yea but Gatling gun is still a viable late game tower cuz unlike swarmer, it can deal more dps than hundreds of em, can detect every type of enemy, can penetrate lead and you can mow down a group of enemies due to piercing in control mode. It's still a solid tower for additional dps

Lvl 5 beehive grenade now can stack up to 19 other swarmer and can inflict serious damage: beehive now deals 25 damage over 0.2 tick over 10 seconds. Fire decreases from 0.8 to 0.1.
A good buff for swarmer could act like jester it either stuns them confuse them or slow them although he's mid to late the price maybe 3500 cash but it's 5x expensive maybe 5 placement limit AND the swarm ability can confuse bosses for 5 seconds better jester but idk I thought of this all because of the goody animation it gave to zombies
you forgot that swarmer is an AoE tick damage tower, 25 damage with 0.2 tick, which is 125 DPS, will make it way too overpowered compared to other AoE towers.

Also make it have a cap limit or something or a silver lining where stacking up to 3 will make a larger explosion that does do damage but it is not op just 2000 dmg and will not go like 7 stacks = 2 explosions and 1/3 stacks no if it is gonna calculate like that instead per stack cap above 3 like a total of 6 stack it would increase damage by 300 per 3 extra stack

Have you considered event towers are supposed to not be great? They're event towers, meaning limited. Making them OP makes an unfair advantage to future players when their respective event goes away.
I guess so, but event towers should be at least B+ or low A tier depending on the difficulty.
Tds is not allergic to multiple good towers, you can still do viable stalling without event towers like Sledger or Frost Blaster, and no point in events if the rewards are terrible.
If the events give out ass rewards then there's no point in playing it

Swarmer is better than archer somehow
Other towers that deserve buffs:
1. Mortar. Crowd control is a cheap excuse for the fact that it sucks when compared to towers like ranger & pursuit. And keep in mind, you can get ranger before you’re even level 50, while mortar requires that you be level 75.
2. Literally all the starter towers. These towers are the most power creeped for progression’s sake. I genuinely think they should move demoman & hunter into the intermediate category.
3. Pyromancer. This tower just doesn’t stand a chance against crook boss DPS-wise, and its support is lackluster.
Now, here’s a hot take: They gotta nerf fallen mode. I’m not saying nerf the fallen king, I’m saying NERF THE FALLEN JESTERS & TONE DOWN THE STUN ABUSE.
It’s already bad enough that the sheer amount of stunning has practically forced everybody to use stun-immune DPS towers for the late game.
And the fallen jesters are JUST THE WORST. These guys can make EVERYTHING 4 times harder to deal with, but there’s only VERY FEW ways to kill them quickly, resulting in a MISERABLE enemy to deal with.
(seriously though, is there any other way of dealing with the fallen jesters quickly on wave 39? The only methods I know are trapper, military base’s airstrikes, & just dealing a ton of DPS.
