The majority of younger generation fans don't have the mind or time to process & respect how skilled & intelligent an emcee has to be to come up with the bars & flows they do. But still, even Hip-Hop fans (me) from back in the day are a little older now, doesn't mean we lost are love for Hip-Hop! Sure we're a little baffled & discouraged how younger Hip-Hop fans today would rather listen to artists with an image or an azz over skilled emcees with so much talent trying to keep up with them will make your head spin. But, I'll always be out here looking to find the next dope emcee who's spittin' fire, ya dig? Plus, there's a reason why the "Golden Age" of Hip-Hop is & will always be considered the best era in Hip-Hop music by the true fans in the Hip-Hop community, just need a reason to listen. Seriously, if you're about real spitters in Hip-Hop today, check out Coast Contra if you're not hip to them. They recently dropped a joint called "Breathe & Stop" which the title & beat is from a joint by Q-Tip they used purposely to pay homage & respect to Q-Tip. Just listen to the 1st verse Eric Jamal spits on it if you're about the art & craft of skilled emcees, you'll be hard pressed to find a better emcees than Eric, trust me. Eric's on another level above the bar with sick & crazy gifted skills for sure. IMO there's only a handful of emcees throughout Hip-Hop history who are up to par, on his level, tell me I'm wrong? 🤘😜🤘 ☮️
