This week we have shocked ourselves, looking back, at just how much we managed to do - it really does defy belief and if you watch the whole video, you'll see why!
First up is a mega-load for the van - our largest ever client visit where we take out 16 huge paintings for them to see. Imagine how long that takes to wrap and load? Then we arrive with our clients and completely take over their home for the day.
After all that we then have to unload everything again the next day! That's also a day when we have to go and pick up a HUGE crate for a painting we send to Norway - it's one of the most ambitious crate deliveries we've done and requires a lot of specialist construction and logistics - but it's worth it when you see the painting! And all this on a day when we are prepping for a live stream too!
That came out amazingly well and you can see the whole stream here ( • I used a GIANT SQUEEGE... ) and the finished painting here (www.swarez.co.uk/modern-art-p....
Then we hot the MEGA FRIDAY - the day when it all kicked off - paperwork to be done for the crate, the crate collection, a client coming to see their commissioned painting plus... we actually stretch it and deliver it to them within 2 HOURS! Who else can deliver that level of service? I honestly don't know how we did it.
And did mention the splashback samples? Guess what, we also paint bespoke splashback panels too and you can see the samples we sent out to a client for their approval - not something we normally show. You can learn more here: www.swarez.co.uk/painted-kitc...
What a week - even by our high standards!!!
ARE YOU NEW TO THE CHANNEL? Excellent! A big welcome to you. We are LIVE from the studio every Wednesday so why not come and take a look on the next stream? The current link is always available here and we'd love to see you on the next one: www.swarez.co.uk/live-streaming/

I discovered your art in February 2022, and I am mesmerized by your approach to painting abstract art, as I was touring on the idea of doing abstract art as I wanted to explore freedom of expression with a wild abandonment and saw myself doing it your way, and low and behold the universe brought me to your videos. I have dabbled in art in the past but was looking for something different. You have inspired me to get on with it, and find time for fun from working on set as a hairstylist. Thanks for sharing your tips and talent.🙏❤️🇨🇦

Hi Ed, I was just wondering do you always ship your paintings to overseas clients in crates,....or do clients have any other option as this this would be a costly exercise to some...I have seen some Artists roll up the painting protected in bubble wrap or other material and shipped it in some kind of a rigid plastic tube and it's up to the the client to have it stretched it on the other end... is this something you also do,
or don't like to for different reasons....By the way love your work

    • @SwarezArt
      @SwarezArt  2 роки тому +1

Hello there! Thanks for the feedback and for the great question. The answer is - all of the above! The shipping and packing method very much depend son the painting and the client. In this video there was no way we could remove it from the frame to roll as the paint was too thick. So I worked with the client on a shipping rate that we were both okay with. In the past we have rolled into a rigid tube and packed the bars through the middle as this has a lower financial impact for the client. But not everyone wants to worry about the processes at the other end so it is very much down to the individual and what they want to do. We always try to make the impact as low as possible for everyone. Hope that helps!

@@SwarezArt The way the latest version of the You Tube app has been set up is that the time is reported as being from 'X' to 'Y' _from the start_ of the video'. Reported this way, the time is presented with a 'minus' or 'negative' ('-') notation before the number.
Ex., if any point, let's say 'A', is 'X' seconds, it means that A is 'X' sec _from the start of_ the video/A is 'X' seconds _into the video_ .
It is follows the algebraic notation so to speak.
So if I had to convert the numbers I mentioned into the old reporting notation, the relevant section of the video would be from (19:49 - 19:36 = 00:13)secs to (19:49 -19:39 = 00:10)secs.

I apologize if I come across as a critical b*tch…Really!!! I did give you a thumbs up and subscribed to your Chanel though. Let me start off by saying that I do love your works!!!! I’ve scene 1,000’s of painting videos, but it’s difficult for me to focus during your show. When you are conversing with people, I truly would like to see some straight videos with out commutation, within the middle: format, your short introduction, what your aim is, the colors being named, then get to work, showing your quite process, and don’t ever make excuses for anything it’s not necessary, and how does the painting make you feel as your ending conclusion. I don’t care about introductions, by giving your verbal to do list, and only give people glimpse of your other paintings, keep people in suspense. Stop going round and round in your studio have absence of calm in elect, I do like your personality and great one on one only with clients, but to me what keeps me interested is a sense of calm your camera man is all over the place, too frenetic!!! Not good, I don’t know if he’s trying to be artsy but it’s exhausting, my eyes are killing me to continue to the end of your video… really.
Again I do apologize for raining on your parade but this is my truth.

Hi Kim, by all means be critical, we are all unique and thus all have different views on the world. We are but two people and a part time editor, myself and Adrian are the cameramen, sometimes the editors, we are the cleaners, the installers, the drivers, the IT team, and the creators of all the art you see.
We have seen thousands of painting videos as well and hope that what we do is a bit different. Most of our subscribers like what we do. We of course will try and bring more videos where I will paint the art and just do a small explanation as to what will happen, but on the
Wednesday livestreams our fans like us to interact and answer all their questions.
Hopefully you will give us a chance and continue to support us in our journey.
