Yeah I think they wanted to bring Kazama back and regretted they killed him of in Y1, so they brought him back as a flashback in Y2 and as his twin brother in 3 lol
Weirdly; i wouldve liked it more of joji got more to him from there, just as a random oppertunity to put more focus on a character that otherwise really just has that shallow of a purpose.
Joji is still one of Kiryu's toughest opponents and I think hes tougher than most if not all bosses from 6 (especially if in his prime). Kinda makes me wonder if Joji could've beaten Nishiki (probably so) and Ryuji if he had fought them.
Kiryu pretty much drew with ryuji, that final cross counter qte is what decdied that battle as if you miss it you lose instantly no matter how much health you have so that qte is really just for the slightest bit of willpower to not pass out or die and not to knock him out imo. Anyway, so I'd say yeah probably. 2-3 years might not seem like alot but it kinda is when you are older. Kiryu did say if Joji was any younger he might have lost this fight. 2-3 years ago Joji would be able to beat Ryuji I'd say. With less difficulty than kiryu, he might be able to full on walk away from the fight on his own unlike Kiryu who needed help to walk away from it. Kiryu is still realistically at an age where a couple years don't matter too much, at this point as 40 as of this game and Joji is I think 60 which at that point yeah I'd say even with constant training a couple years would matter more than with Kiryu. I love ryuji and he's no doubt a powerhouse, again he pretty much drew with Kiryu in a fight but both the Kazama's from what I know even after just doing this fight are both on another level
@@hanakoisbestgirl4752 ryuji was a strange specimen cuz kiryu beat his ass without panting (which means it was a difficult fight) on the first and second fights, but got incapacitated after the final one
@@lemonismq4642if Kiryu wasn’t panting after he beat Ryuji that means he was at least a decent opponent, he only panted in their 1st fight cause Ryuji was going all out on him and so did Kiryu.

Considering Joji never shows up again, I’m firmly convinced he was created solely so the players can have a boss fight against Kazama

Can he beat goku tho

Honestly, love this fight and the music for this fight
One of the most epic and atmospheric Battles in the whole series!
Kazama's moveset is truly impressive
He is actually joji fuma, not joji kazama.

Joji Kazama (Lyricism Without Tears).
Biutifuru thumbnairu Leon

@@yaboi2500 you might be right. I didn't listened to this soundtrack more thoroughly, until now.
"Yakuza 3 is terrible!!" Said people with bad taste
Right? Smh
i only half agree with it because the combat is shit sometimes
haven't watched Yakuza videos for a while, nice battle as always
I love this boss fight so much.
This has to be one of the best fight in the game right ?
I like mine's better
This is one of my favourite fight in Yakuza 3
This is probably my favorite non-final boss in the game, although Kanda takes a close second place.
Yes!!! The FIGHT I've been waiting for!!!
Okay but, here's the real question.
Who'd win between:
Peak Kiryu
VS
Peak Shintaro Kazama
You know what, I'm actually interested as well. Maybe a tie or Shintaro just slightly
No weapons: Kiryu by a hair.
Weapons allowed: Kiryu literally dies.
Also what do we consider as Peak Kiryu because I'm not sure?
@@inazproductions
Not sure. Probably Yakuza 2 Kiryu.
Or if it has to be a COMPLETE stomp,
Yakuza 0 Kiryu at Level 999.
@@inazproductions yakuza 5 kiryu solidified him as a level no one could hope to reach after the 100 man fight
If only we got Kenzan remastered.
the fact that this didnt get an proper introduction is beyond heartbreaking
Closest we'll get to an actual Kiryu Kazuma vs Shintaro Kazama fight. Though judging from here, Shintaro would kick Kiryu's ass.
2:00 bro did not gotta pull out the son goku stance 💀 hell nah im goin home
Honestly it’s hard to decide which is my favorite between this and Andre Richardson
It’s clearly Joji to me. Richardson is nothing without his guns and Kiryu had some hard time putting Joji down.
As a character Joji. As a fight. I don't know
Am i the only one think the ost on 1:56 reminds me of for faith?
