  • 2.14.20 | by Adam Balhetchet | BENSONHURST, Brooklyn - A 3-alarm fire injured one firefighter and displaced 25 residents. It started around 11:30 pm Friday night at 1948 85th St. Flames were seen shooting from the upper floor as well as the roof. 120 firefighters battled the flames in freezing 18-degree weather. According to fire officials, 25 people were displaced and one firefighter suffered a non-life-threatening injury. The fire was under control after 2 am on Saturday. Fire marshalls are investigating the cause of the fire.
