Are these bulbs still working? These bulbs with the built-in resistor are known to get pretty hot therefore damaging the case and the LEDS.

So you only have to remove the bumper for the 2018 se?

No do not have to remove the bumper, just to two bolts in the trunk area.

Does the resistor gets too hot so it turn off the turn signal?

***Warning: Replace EITHER the front or the rear turn signal bulbs, but you can't replace both, otherwise you will still get hyper flash***
That is a statement by JDM. You will need a resistor if you replace BOTH front and back together.
