Bioeconomy Cluster marked another remarkable progress! In May 2024, the Slovak Cluster organised the second stakeholder workshop in the framework of CEE2ACT - in cooperation with BOOST4BIOEAST (Horizon Europe projects focused on the establishment of bioeconomy hubs and boosting of bioeconomy development at strategical level in CEE countries).
The event titled “Bioeconomy in Slovakia - Moving Forward” brought together 55 participants from industry, academia, R&D and policy making. This dynamic event created space for networking and broad discussion about bioeconomy and its further development. In high level opening, Director General of the Department of Strategies of the Ministry of Agriculture emphasised the ambition to unite active actors in the national bioeconomy hub with the aim of jointly promoting research, innovation, entrepreneurship, and the creation of supporting instruments and policies.
