Honestly, this is my absolutely favourite distress colour, it is so versitile and beautiful, its just a stunning colour to have and I loved your make , fab!
Grey Poupon... A little Goose to your Maverick... man I love crafting with you! Hehe, too fun, bonus, a gorgeous showcase of the fabulous Lost Shadow! xoxo
Cathy, great card, products, and colors; just an FYI, if you put a corsage or other stainless steel pin in your glue bottle tips, they will never clog, glue a tiny magnet to the side of the bottle so you never lose the pin, or get a magnetic bowl [Amazon, of course] to hold them and you're golden
Hi. Thanks for sharing this lovely card. I never thought I'd say this but I'm glad you put a hold on the boops with this one as you were correct, it didn't look right with them. Have a great week!
LOVE IT, Cathy! P.S. - I finally "caved" and bought myself a sit-stand desk after doing a LOT of research. I LOVE it! I can even EASILY wipe up ink stains from it to keep it sparkly clean! I'd be happy to let you know what I got, if getting one interests you. I've had it now for a year, use it daily I work from home now and adjust the desk at a minimum four times a day - plus weekend crafting on it, and it still works as good as the day I put it in here. (It even shipped to MN just fine in the dead of that coollllddd cold winter we had last year.) Just say the word if interested! 💓
Love the stamp scrubber. I had an idea to make something like that years ago when I first removed all my stamps from the wooden blocks. I told my husband I needed a better way to clean them now. I just didn't know how to get that idea out to someone!
@@MarietteLeppert Hey Wow, it's good to know... I am Originally from France but I Currently base in Detroit Michigan, So how is the weather over there in Canada? Nice to meet you 👋
"lost shadow hair" lol! I think it looks better without the gems. The hint of color changes it entirely. If I wanted to bring in a pop of color I wouldn't hint. I'd die cut a single bright red baby heart and place it somewhere. And, then I'd torture myself going, "with or without? with or without?" Analysis paralysis. I'm so glad I clicked on this video because you really were so successful conveying how beautiful gray can be. I just love this card!
I am in love with that sentiment set! (Shh… don’t tell my husband- or, wait! DO tell my husband! 😉😂) I bought a set of 2 of the the 4” turn tables from Amazon, so I could put one under my blender brushes. Out of curiosity, I stuck the other one under my Gemini Jr. It works! 😂 It’s not attached or anything. The weight keeps it in place.
1:06 pm I noticed that in the beginning up put the large stamp on Misty on the pink side instead of the clear side, was there a purpose for that? Could you please explain the difference between oxide and ink?
Hey Pam, that's just the way I like to use cling stamps because I like to press the door into the stand. It works both ways. The oxide is more of a pigment hybrid formula where the regular distress ink is a water-based ink.
As I'm watching you try to get a good impression with your stamp, I recently bought this same stamp and it is not an even surface. I have to put my stamp on my glass mat, ink it up and lay my paper on top of it and really run my hands over it before I can get a good impression. IDK...kinda weird!
Great card. I love the simplicity, it’s perfect. Thank you for sharing 😊🤗

I love the card and I especially appreciated the quote from Spinal Tap. :)
So glad! That movie informed my sense of humor in high school!

Very elegant. ❤️ it. ❤️❤️❤️
This is the exact gray that I've been feeling has been missing! I love it so much and am so glad it's the newest addition
Love this card! I'm thinking I need some good gray cardstock to go with it!
Hello Melanie how are you doing,
where are you from?
Simple and elegant. Love it.
Hi Cathy! I love your stamp set.
Beautiful card Cathy 💖
I love this simple card. I want that background stamp!
Love your clean and simple card design!
Beautiful, just got my Lost Shadow and can't wait to play!
Oh my goodness. Who knew that neutrals could be so beautiful? Gorgeous card!

I love this card, and I’m glad you did not add the rhinestones!
Such a classy card! I was one of the lucky ones to get your stamp set - going to try and do a recreate !
I absolutely love it Cathy. I haven't had a chance to play with mine yet, but it is scheduled.
Cathy, do you love your magnetic glass mat? Love this card! I ordered the whole set of Lost Shadow, too!
I do. I love working on it!
Another cute card Cathy! I’m interested in your grip mat, I didn’t see it listed. May I please ask where you got it? Thank you!
Oh, yes… forgot to link it: ldli.co/e/43o0ne6
@@czdesign , thank you for adding it! I used your link and added to my cart!
I’m havin’ a thought here, Barbosa. A darker anti static powder for darker card stocks. Maybe Simon can work on that?
I love this elegent card.
How and why did you decide to change from distress ink to distress oxide?
Thank you! I knew that the Oxide would have a softer, chalkier finish, and I wanted a softer feel.

How cool is that?
Beautiful where the the little black mat? Thank you so much hugs x😇😇
Which one? The mat I used to work on?
@@czdesign yes
Do you tape two green plates together or one clear and one green together?
One clear, one green!

Will the Hero Arts scrubber take the residue off of new stamps?
Now that, I am not sure of!
pretty card as. always you know I got the new color and I can't see it on the paper likeI can on your card maybe I need to stay it more

I thought it was my Misti? Hmmm. The plot thickens!
Croptions!
Ha! Love it!
The Hero Arts scrubber: Do you think it would work safely on stencils?
I think you would have to be careful! I wouldn't recommend it for that.
Oh that your card stock lol
