    I view these kind of things and mechanical perspective, what I see is coolant going bye-bye, if it's getting hot enough to boil off all the water then more melt will happen, but that is only a problem when they frequency rises in the eruptions, this would be something to keep an eye on, if it happens more frequently then the alert level should be erased

      Yeah that’s true. She’s one big mama and when she blows we all do. Good bye half the earths population and all of America basically. Hopefully by the time it happens we have a big warning

    So does everyone think the plumbing has changed for Steamboat allowing it to erupt more since now its erupted 18 times since Apr 2018?

      The channels underneath Yellowstone are always changing. Mammoth is the most obvious example of this (it never looks the same each time you go), but it happens everywhere.

    I don't know what's so exciting about the eruption..... the entire area looks like about to blow.... would they then think it's exciting?

      Maggie Joseph it hadnt erupted since 2014, now its done it twice this year. Probably doesnt mean anything, just minor techtonic shifts. Not enough to trigger a full eruption of the volcano.

      Maggie Joseph lol you should watch the video with the numbers its one of tge top ones there's an insanely loud lady screaming for no reason 😂

  • @omarpadilla5155

    Does this mean there's pressure being released from the plates down there ? This could be good news or bad news but seeing there's hasn't been earthquakes it should be fine.

    • @elcajondavid1
      @elcajondavid1 6 років тому +2

      Actually, I think the plates moving is better than not moving, so occasional earthquakes is actually good, because it releases stress, instead of continuing to build up pressure. I am only going by what it is like here in California, the longer we wait for an earthquake the worse it will be. Little quakes are better than no quakes.

    • @omarpadilla5155
      @omarpadilla5155 6 років тому

      David Rook thanks David for the info. My family members are always super stressed because of the faults in our state. They were here when the big ones hit in the 80's and 90's so they know the power it packs. Still this park has the capability of killing us off.

    • @elcajondavid1
      @elcajondavid1 6 років тому

      Focus RSN. Yeah, I live in San Diego, and even know it is pretty minor when it comes to quakes, I just notice it is better for the plates to continue to move, than stop moving altogether. You know another one that is pretty scary is the sierras around the mammoth region.

    Is it going to blow??

    • @astrosfan5288
      @astrosfan5288 6 років тому

      It will eventually. They say every 600,000 years and it’s been 640,000. I forget, but some school found a packet of magma underneath that’s been heating up. I even heard the govt is thinking of pumping water down there to keep it cooler.

    • @jamesmcfarland3711
      @jamesmcfarland3711 6 років тому

      That was a joke, right? Pumping water into a magma chamber, even if it were possible would be a huge mistake. Heat and water cause steam. Massive amounts of sudden steam causes explosions. Kinda want to stay away from that.

    • @astrosfan5288
      @astrosfan5288 6 років тому +1

      James McFarland nope. I’ve seen several reports they’ve been thinking of pumping water near the magma to cool it down. You can look it up. I think they have to get it approved by the govt. first. If this happened we are screwed.

      I am not sure they lied, true there have been 3 eruptions this year. This video may be the first one. It’s non specific. But IMHO three eruptions is a concern, coupled with the swarms within the last year. I would consider asking for reassignment. Great video. I have been 4 times. Mother grew up in Livingston. Beautiful country

      I don't think this eruption is from this year. Norris Geyser Basin has been closed during all three eruptions. Still some nice footage. If any it would have to be the third one and NPS will be trying to find all these people to ticket them ;)

    I remember watching a show on the supervolcano and they said its 100,000 years overdue, and could blow any day now. And now all of a sudden now that this is going on, theyre saying theres nothing to worry about and it isn't going to erupt any time soon?? sounds like a cover up to me

    If in the future technology if this volcano could be used for source of energy blast couldn't Earth strap some type of rocket booster around the volcano making it a booster rocket for Earth to move out of the solar system or move its own planetary body as a space ship my ideas are crazy lol
