- We are still at SEMA 2022 and this RX7 with a Mercedes V12 caught our eye. Featuring a one-off kit by the Kyza, this RX7 FD was a standout at the Toyo Treadpass area of the show. We also check out a Skyline R32 GTR that cost $1,000,000 to build, see all the cars that stood out at the show and even a rotary-powered Silvia 240sx. Sit back and enjoy!

Just wanted to show my respect to the 21 year old guy who built that 86 alone wow. People can be soooo special with a good education sky is the limit for that guy amazing 💪
Cams 86 is by far my favorite and in my opinion the best car in sema hands down the amount of time and quality that can put into that is crazy at the age of 17-21

The Skylines are built by Sakamoto-san, the founder of Garage Active Japan and he built both (there is a black one too) of the full carbon cars. Amazing and the most beautiful RB32 Skyline GTRs ever imo, all the carbon weave lines up perfectly just next level. I believe it took about 12 coats of clear and paint to create it.
The gullwings are fiberglass moulded of a original the guy has built quite a few his name is slang500 he’s been on hoonigan too

Even as a mechanic I'm sitting wondering whether the zones rx7 even runs or if it's just an engine bolted to the car, it's soo clean and smooth 👌

Its missing coolant lines, fuel lines, throttle cable, & some radiator fans from what I've seen & possibly dry sump oil lines as well. But if you see the car closely the inner fender wells look like they were cut by a 5 year old as well as the front bumper being mounted to the fenders with a fugly metal bracket with 2 screws on the outside.
That modified red 300SL is an automotive dream come true!

Edit: DUUUDE! Now that I know why everyone keeps harping on about the 86! That thing is mental!
And it is his first project? What he did with the collector and the suspension is beyond impressive.

The Bisimoto Porsche kit looks to be inspired by the Porsche 935 Mobydick racecar from the 80’s. Also the 997 wide body is an Indecent kit

Pink 997 kit is made by Incedent in Poland. It has its debut at this year Ultrace on yellow #1 car.

That R32 is for sure the most expensive JDM car out there that are not the 400R. 400R prices are on a lil different level, as you would expect out of only 40 cars made.

That SL gull-wing could be a replica as Kindig Design did a modified gull-wing that was actually a fibeglass replica.

Deff the coolest fd iv ever seen. Love the engine swap. Props to you guys making it to the states for the show. We have a bagged custom frame long bed square body 79 chevy going in the ppg booth next year. Not really anything to brag on but it's been several years since we went. Just a small shop in Tennessee.
S club 7 did a good job with their replicas if you thought that they really chopped up a real 300sl 😀
So the ppl that built the mercedes 300sls are SKlub LA and they arent actually original cars, they are extremely beautiful replicas!

I think you'll find both those Mercedes 300 sl's are fiberglass done by John Sarkisyan. I think.

Midnight purple 911 at 13:30 looks like it's Subaru EJ powered. That Intake manifold is a Process West piece that's been anodized. I recognize that timing belt setup.

Now speaking of swaps i feel like swaps has kind expanded to a certain extent I mean yu still see the typical Honda or ls swap etc which is koo but getting old in my opinion the fact that there's ppl putting insane engines in old jdm or watever car is crazy koo im a big fan on a unique build.
V12 is still the most superior engine. Perfect balance, amazing sound 👌

That GR86 was "done" by Larry Chen. Which means he worked with Toyota and all the sponsors, gets to keep it and Larry helped pick the wrap
