i'm really late to the party on this, but i'm not in the discord and wanted it to be known that anyone that wants to try this. i was able to beat behemoth in this same kind of challenge, but it's about as difficult as you'd expect. the things that are required are frog ring (obviously), frozen magic bullet for freeze chance, and A LOT of luck with fairy powder for sleep. if you can use some of your off turns to summon up to 3 companions it really helps. 1 - because it's more chances to land sleep 2 - iirc i had preraise somehow at this point of the game, so if you put that on you and all 3 companions, surviving the rampage is a possibility. sorry if this information was a bit of a slog to read, but best of wishes to all the cool people that want to try this challenge too. it's super fun! :D
I don't know if it was this video or the other Black souls 1 sl1 run where you mentioned something about having to fight Hansel & Gretel to get spells, but you can access Dorothy without having to fight them if you don't pick up any of the bread.(don't know if this is common knowledge)
I think that might be impossible in the very first fight, since you don’t have access to any cards that cause status conditions. In fact, I don’t think you get access to non-attack cards that cause status conditions until you defeat Lulu.
I thought Ending C was the one that lead to BS2, since the characters are canonically murdered by Grimm and comment on it. Is it a BS2 kind of bullshit where everything is canon with each loop?
Ba1 exists in a loop too, with leaf reseting to the begining each time you reach the end, so every ending is canon, but end d is the one that breaks the cycle and leads to bs2. Also leaf kills all the heroines except red hood in end d, so it still makes sense for them to be dead in bs2

Is the game entirely narrated in second person, or are there instances where Grimm is the one talking through the narration? I always thought the ending, where Grimm says "And then *I* squeezed" was him assuming control of the story and his character after he kills Leaf, since it's her story and she's the one narrating Grimm's actions

I didnt find out until right now that you can completely skip observer if you use invisibility powder. That would've saved me alot of trouble

I think accepting Baphomets request on Prayer master makes him easier

Here's a suggestion for your next challenge, Library of Ruina, but you're not allowed to attack, only defense, evade and use status conditions
