Your HST consist is about right, MML typically ran two firsts, buffet and five seconds (one being a TGS with "guard's van". Great stuff, keep up the good work.
@@JoeDobsongaming Joe, you need some steam engines on your race to the north and you need to mix it up with all the different steam engines and electric trains and diesel diesel should be for the freight and electric and steam engines should be for passengers and a little bit of diesel for your passengers as well but you’re going to need to make it look better when you have steam, electric and diesels, running around on some of the lines and don’t forget to put Vaseline in by the bus stations so that you’re not holding traffic back up in your cities in transport fever 2
6:43 perfect opportunity for a viaduct. Also more stopping stations along side the mainline maybe on another track or having a junction for the station
Im excited to see what you do with the "cross country style" route between Brest and Nantes. I hope you start by using XC (arriva) Slam door HSTs, then as time moves on upgrade the doors to Plug Doors, then eventually replacing them with 221s. That would be cool to see.
Hey Joe Midland Mainline style Looking cool ever need information My Uncles a Manager in the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire Region and im a Guard at Derby Also Travel quite frequently On the line and do Train Spotting in my spare time so if you need/want any information im happy to help! Also on this "Midland Mainline" Be cool to see EMR HSTs Meridian 222 170s and 158s running on it solely in the classic Purple!
For your CC style service, voyagers would probably be the best bet. Perhaps a double consist. Quick acceleration means they won’t slow down the HSTs and journey times will be short.
To be fair to Joe, Carhaix-Plouguer is a pronunciation I’ve heard French people struggle with lol I believe in reality it’s locally known just as Carhaix

Thanks for the info! The MML has always been a grey area when it comes to my knowledge of railways :D So any information is greatly appreciated :D

Some of those gradients are ridiculous 😂
Hey Joe.
You could make either the Southern or Northern highspeed 4 track to allow suburban services to run uninterrupted.

6:35 how have we run out of money?
Tip: pause time sometimes when you’re building, helps a lot!

It was 2003, a HS line was built with diesel trains in France. SNCF is “crying out loud”
Oh yeah they've had the magnificent TGV for many years prior to 2003 haha :D
Also, it’s prototypical to see VT power cars running with MML stock in the way of Project Rio.

The HSTs didn’t show up because you had to turn on the VP185 mod.
Brilliant video as always :D
Thanks again! (Sorry, I've just got home, so am bulk replying hahaha) :D
